"No." Knotpaw sounds even sterner. "You need to stay here with us. I'm sure it's fine - Crowcloud is a master at these situations. Just give them a few minutes and they'll be back."

The ginger tom looks between you two and the way that the adults had gone, before growling and plopping down next to you again. "Fine. I guess we'll sit here and do nothing."

"We can keep training," you say. "I still need practice."

"Not a bad idea," Knotpaw says. "Here, Rowanpaw, we can help Rookpaw train. That's close enough to an actual fight."

"About as close as batting around a leaf," he grumbles. You swat him with a paw.

Knotpaw stands up, stretching. "Well, either way, I'll train with you, Rookpaw. Just tell me what you want to work on."
