Callie stepped down the black grand staircase, the lacquer shining white in the light of the small but elegant chandelier above. Her red ringlets of hair cascaded down her back, and the lawyer's silver and white ballgown matched the scheme of the decorations that dotted the room. The prosecutor, clad in her formidable ballgown as well as a red-and-black mask with one long, black feather sticking out, strode off the staircase and over to the door, her mind buzzing as she took a deep breath. "I just hope this works," she breathed to herself, leaning against the wall just to the right of the entryway, her eyes locking on a certain tree out in the dark night. Though she hadn't wanted a party so extravagant (and almost couldn't afford both the time and money that was put into it), she knew that it was for the best; the Plumie knew hardly anyone outside of her small group of friends, and this would be a great way to meet more. And who knows? Maybe she'd be doing a favor for someone else and their social life.

In his plain outfit of just the black and white suit and a simple dark blue mask, Ari arrived at the ball. He noticed a plumie by the entrance and politely said hello, and thanked her for allowing this ball to happen. It certainly didn't look cheap, and seemed likea kind thing to do. The least he could do was thank the plumie who looked like she organized the event. Then Ari calmly walked inside, waiting for more plumerians to show up, maybe even his best friend, Dakota. He was okay if she didn't attend though. He was willing to make some other friends.

Kii stepped cautiously down the staircase, looking around the ballroom. He was dressed simply in a tux and red tie, having not known what to wear-- he had finally just settled on a rented suit, which was not really glamorous, but Kii wasn't here to impress anyone. The idea of a "masquerade ball", however, had intrigued him, and he received so few party invitations in his life that he felt almost obliged to take the chance that had been given to him and attend. His mask was simple as well, white, and it didn't conceal his oddly-colored eyes. Kii caught sight of a familiar-looking green plumerian down the stairs, but he couldn't recognize her under the mask, so she must not be someone he knew very well.

Prem looked in the mirror, rather pleased with the way she looked. She had opted for simple blue earrings to match her light and floaty blue ballgown, paired with a flowery mask that wove around her head like an oversized flower crown. Rather excited to get to the ball, she shoved on her ballet flats quickly and rushed out the door.

Callie jolted up, standing straight as she noticed the door open. A few Plumerians walked in, each with his/her own mood about the arrangement already apparent, just by the auras about them. She curtsied to them as they passed, though she thought it almost humiliating. But the small gesture was proper etiquette for these things; it was a ball, after all. The native of Ireland glanced to the side as she heard a masculine voice, finding a cream-spotted individual thanking her for the party. "No problem," she nodded, trying to cover up her accent as best as she could. A New Yorker's accent mixed with one of an Irish girl's would be nothing, if not memorable; if she knew anyone here from even a small occurrence elsewhere, they would've definitely remembered her voice, if anything. "And thank you for coming." She smiled genuinely, not think that she would get such a show of gratitude, however small. As the gentlemanly Plumie headed off, the host located a small bench closest to the door and took a seat, waiting to greet potential newcomers, that is, if there were anymore to come.

Alani started walking in the ballroom with her sparkly, short, light orange dress with darker orange designs. With the dress she had her mask, that had feathers with a few gems. Her whole outfit was amazing. And of course, she was wearing a cap. Not her normal one, but one to go with her outfit. The cap was light orange too, with darker orange designs. And to top off the outfit she wore mascara and her orange jeweled earrings and her black converses.

Alani stopped for a moment, look around, she saw 2 other plumies but could make out who they were with the masks.
Then Alani started walking down the staircase, releaved that she didnt have a huge ugly poofy dress. She hated those. Alani took a breath and thought,"Maybe i can make a few friends here. Maybe I can find my crush..."

And then Alani started walking down the staircase, watching all the plumies look at her. Alani blushed a bit. When she was down the stairs, she went to the buffet. She got herself some creampuffs and punch. Then she walked over to a empty table alone, and started eating.

Ari saw a few more plumies come into the ballroom before he decided to say hello to another person. That girl in the orange seemed very friendly and nice, so he decided to talk to her and make a new friend. He felt he should eat a snack anyway. So, he headed up to the buffet table and grabbed some cookies. Then he said, "Hi! You look very pretty tonight, what a lovely outfit!" He complimented. "Well anyway, I'm Ari. What's your name?" Ari used his techniques from experience of talking. Talking was important to him, as it was fundamental for making friends. He wanted to make a good impression on her. That way, they could become good friends and he could also learn more about her. So, he tried to be polite and kind, which almost always worked.

Zevia was approached the large hose, the window giving off an orangy glow as the darkness of the night loomed behind her. The front door was open, a few Plumies already inside as the host was at the door getting people. Zevia nervously stepped up to the porch forcing herself to go inside, giving the nice Plumie greeting her a friendly smile and a wave. She stepped inside, telling her self that this was going to be fun, but her whole body practically shaking from her nerves. She hadn't been to many social gatherings, and didn't have very many friends so she was scared out of her wits, and the only reason she came was because Nala had begged her to go. She found herslef quietly making her way along the outskirts of the party, too nervous to go up and greet any one, so she found a chair and sat down, messing with the flowers weaved into her hair. She watched all of the Plumies dressed up so beautifully like kings and queens, talking, laughing, eating and having fun, it made her smile. //why am I so nervous? Why can't I just go up and talk to people?// she questioned herself, as she fiddled with her fingers, watching all the other plumie having a great time.
