Star stiffened, struggling to breathe against Kelly's chest.

"Take me back," she whimpered, her arms tightening around his middle as she drew in another shaky breath, her mind suddenly blank. "Kelly, please." /because i can't be out here it's not safe what if /he/ comes back i know that's impossible but what if it happens anyway i just don't want to be in danger that's bad taking risks is bad and going outside is a risk/ For once, she couldn't believe Kelly's words "you're safe".

"I promise, he will never hurt you again. If he tries, I'll make sure he won't see the next day. Let's go home." Kelly stood, holding Starfish securely in his arms. She was wrapped tightly around him, eyes squeezed tightly shut; it made Kelly furious to see all the pain this guy had put Star through. "Star, I will find this guy, and make sure he never hurts you again." Kelly clenched his teeth, his blood was curtling from anger.

"Blood," muttered Star into Kelly's chest. She focused on breathing in and out, slowly, like Cappu had told her to. She needed to feel she was safe again, and although she knew the cottage wasn't really any safer than the beach, it was-- irrational, it was-- it made perfect sense!! She struggled out another breath. /what am I even doing... Kelly deserves better than me, he's going to be stuck in a cottage all his life if he marries me.../ for the first time, she started to have doubts about their upcoming wedding. /It would be wonderful for /me/, sure, but it would be horrible for him!/

Kelly heard Star mutter "blood", and then she began slipping back into shock, and he raced for her cottage, holding her tight in his arms. /this is all my fault, I should have never pushed her so hard/ im such an idiot, why would you fix up something for Star that she cant have/ im such a horrible fioncé/ Kelly stopped his mind, doing his best to clear his mind, only thinking about Star's safety. He ran heavily but fast down the street, tearing up his paws on the sharp rocks. He came down her little cobblestone walkway and back through the door that had been left open. He dashed through the kitchen, nearly slipping in his blood, and went strait for the couch, laying Starfish down gently. "Sweetheart, your home, please let me know you're alright. Just squeeze my paw." Kelly held her tenderly, anxiously awaiting a response.
