Flash looked at the dragon, "You'll have to make a choice... everyone does. I hate fighting as much as the next RainWing, but hey, even RainWings have to choose sides!" Then Flash glared at Starsong, "No. Join the DawnWings."

[blitz;]

"Which ever one you choose, I won't be fighting for Nightwings. I fight for my self. You heard me, I'm a rogue."

Stardust turned to Flash "I'll choose in my own time, even if I'm a hundred years old by then!" Flicking her tail up, she added "Also, I don't remember anyone else being half SandWing and having to deal with that too."

[blitz;]

"Fine by me. This war will last about 36 years tops." Starsong said.

"Perhaps hundreds, giving you," Flash flicked her tail to the half SandWing, "enough time to choose." She turned a bright yellow, orange flickering along her scales, and a deep red alternating to purple on her tail. This was by her own will, not through any emotions. Flash had been good at hiding emotions now.

"Do you know what my job was back at the tribe?" Starsong asked.

"Why should I know?" Flash asked, a bit more orange flaring around the edges of her wings.

"Just saying, I was avoided mostly. Because I'm an assassin." Starsong said, revealing 3 sharp metal disks.
