~ Sorry for not posting enough! It's been a rough week.
::Erickson Jonathon Lee Jackson: 16 :: Single :: Powerless :: Coffee Shop Jamestown ::"It looks like a very nice place," Eric commented, staring at the gypsy-like caravan. He couldn't help but wonder about the people who lived here. They were all gathered in groups talking, laughing, and seeming to enjoy each other's presence. This was a new experience for him. The castles halls were lit by torches, always causing shadows. The coldness of halls came from the emptiness and downright evilness of the ruler. This was much different.[center]
::King Jonathon Jackson:: 34 :: Open & Single :: Unknown :: Castle's private gathering room ::Johnathon stood, approaching the door in long strides. "Madeline, wait." He steps in front of the girl. "You know, I don't like to see the country split like it is. It could be peaceful again." His expression was neutral.
::Rose Jane Tyler:: 16 :: Complicated :: Mesmer :: Rebel Camp ::
Rose reached down to the trap in search of anything that may be in it. Much to her disappointment, the trap was empty. 'There was something here." She searched the ground for a moment. "It ate the bait and it didn't trigger the trap." She frowned, moving the parts of the trap and leaves around. She set the crawdad as the trap's bait. "That sucks."
::Ivory Ann Dark:: Nineteen :: Single :: Necromancer (with amnesia) :: Central Mysery
Ivory was silent when he finally dropped her hand. In fact, she was a little worried about being around the boy. People would be after him. Is that really what he had said? She wondered if maybe she had heard him wrong. She had a feeling she didn't though. "I'm looking for..." She wasn't sure she could explain why she was looking for it, but hopefully he wouldn't ask. "Well, I need to find some information about my family." That's normal for people to do, right? What did they call it? "I'm interested in..." She paused trying to find the word. "Genealogy. Yeah, the genealogy of my family." She smiled, hoping it would distract him from thinking she was strange.

Quinn Leon l 18 l Necromancer l Jamestown
"It is pretty amazing." Quinn agreed, gesturing for them to step into the haphazard circle that defined the camp. Nodding in greeting to a few familiar faces, she sat herself around the fire, hoping the boys would follow her lead. Taking her eyes off her guests for a few seconds, she grabbed three bowls, and filled them with the broth from the cauldron. Even though she had eaten earlier, the smell we too delicious to give up. Asking if they could stay could wait until later, it would be preferable to get the pair immersed in their little "family" first.
{hey, sorry if this seems nit-picky or rude, but the word "Gypsy" is actually considered a racial slur, and it makes me really uncomfortable when people use it ^^; }
{ again, not to be rude, it's not really something a lot of people know about }

((Yeah, I understand. I know what it is and what it stands for, but that's kinda just what I think of when we describe the camp. I don't tend to think of it as a slur, but I'll stop using it if it makes you feel uncomfortable. I just think of Fable. xD))
Nineteen : : Empath : : Christopher Storms : : Jamestown
Chris almost forgot that Erik was there and jumped at his words. Though, he wasn't really in the mood to hate him anymore. He followed Quinn to a fire, sitting himself close to her. He took one of the bowls she had filled with...whatever this was. Some kind of soup, he assumed, and inhaled the steams coming from it. It smelled quite nice, but he didn't want to start eating yet, even though he was starving. Growing boys, they're never full.

Cassy brightened at the compliment. Perhaps he could finally be of use to the rebels; other than accidentally blowing stuff up. He looked up at her again when she asked for his name. "Oh, right. It's Cas." He frowned at the fact that he automatically gave the shortened version of his name. "Castiel. It's Castiel." He said, his voice sounding thicker, taking on that emotionless feel. "What do you do for the rest of the day?" He asked, tilting his head to the side. He never understood what it was people did for fun around these parts. There really wasn't anything to do besides hunt, sew...basically work. It didn't quite go well with him considering the fact he's useless, except he had just discovered a new task for himself.
Trisa Kallen - age 18 - Rebel Camp - Shifter
Trisa stiffened. "Nothing for me to do, Castiel. I'm just a blind girl who happens to be good at sewing," she snapped. Trisa instantly regretted the words. They were the kind that always made people pity her, and she didn't want, had never wanted, anyone's pity. So she took a deep breath and voiced an apology she actually almost felt. "I'm sorry, Castiel. If you really want to know, I was thinking to take a walk in the woods." And practice my abilities, she added silently, I think I'm finally able to fully control my shifting.

Quinn Leon l 18 l Necromancer l Jamestown
"Go ahead, eat." Quinn told Chris, noticing that he had food but seemed to be ignoring it. Eric hadn't sat down yet, but they didn't exactly have a custom of waiting for anyone before eating. She had already eaten half her bowl. "I mean, if you're not going to eat it, I will." After eating her serving, she now definitely felt hungry.
{ using it to describe stuff is part of the problem with the word, so yeah, I would prefer if it weren't used. Thank you for understanding^^ }

Eric continues to watch the camp. He was handed a bowl of soup but didn't eat it right away. He watched as everyone went along with their day. He realizes that his friends had sat down and he joined them and began to sip at the soup. "It's delicious," he said, commenting on the soup.
~ I just thought it meant people who travel and have no defined "home" or whatever if that makes sense. But I will stop using it too.

Quinn Leon l 18 l Necromancer l Jamestown
"The soup's always good, it's just a mix of whatever meats, veggies, and herbs we can get our hands on. Somehow it always turns out right." Quinn laughed, finishing off her bowl before stealing a spoonful of Christopher's. "Some say it's another magic power we have, excellent cooking skills. Sadly, that talent doesn't seem to extend to me." she added, cringing when she thought of her numerous cooking failures. She had pretty much been banned from ever touching food after a while, and perhaps it was for the better.

((Okay I'm back for the next day, going to Florida. xD))
Seventeen : : Pifler : : Castiel Novak : : In Rebel Camp
Cas almost flinched at her harsh words, but he was used to this sort of thing. Unexpected...things like this. But she instantly apologized, so he forgave her. He would have anyhow. "Could I come with you? There's nothing for a useless boy to do." He gave her a smile before getting to his feet; not even dusting off the back of his pants, just stretching his legs.
Nineteen : : Empath : : Christopher Storms : : Jamestown
Chris glanced at his soup as Quinn stole a bite before looking up at her with a smile. "You can't cook?" He said, trying not to laugh. He moved his bowl closer to himself and began eating it himself. He let out a sigh as the warm flavors hit the roof of his mouth. It was nice to have home cooked dinners, he preferred it over anything else.

Trisa Kallen - age 18 - Rebel Camp - Shifter
Trisa opened her mouth, but found herself unable to say no. A small sound made it out of her throat as she stood, sewing kit folded in her hands. "I have to put some things back into my tent, first," she found herself saying, "But you can come."
What are you doing? she asked herself,
Are you giving up a chance to practice, or are you planning on revealing your gift to a near-complete stranger? She couldn't answer herself.
(Added type of animal Trisa shifts onto her form.)
