Redd watched the battle, excited. Intrigued. When it was over, he ran to Kim. "Wow, that was great!" He said. "You showed him!" Redd went to the dead body and stared at it. He smiled. A wolf had died, and he smiled. "Hey Jace!" He growled. No answer. "Jace, come here!" He said. The gray wolf came out of the wilderness with one paw over his eye.

I smile at the pup. "Thank you. Apparently I'm not good enough for a warrior though." I scowl ashes miles at the dead body... "Are you alright?" I run up to Jace. "Lets go to Kira's den. She'll help you out... You'll be fine." I say, and call Casper. "Come here Casper!" I nudge Redd and Jace along back to camp, hoping to avoid Rage. I make sure Casper follows.

Theo raised a brow at Lowell. He was interested if she had anything else to say. "Huh. Well if you say so." He said with a smile before swimming over toward the center of the lake. "You're pretty adorable yourself." He chuckled.

Ruben looked around as they padded toward the river, he could feel himself moving closer to Kira as he was a little crepped out by the land. Everything looked to much more malicious in the dark, and he honestly didn't like the night as much as he wanted to. He could feel his heart pick up when her tail rubbed against him, he almost could hear since it felt like all of his blood was rushing to his ears. Ruben cleared his throat a little, heat rising to his face as he glanced over at the fae.

>> Rage flattened against the ground as Kim burst past him. He didn't know if she saw him or not, but from behind it was sort of not hard to. He was a large wolf. However in the dark, his midnight pelt made him practically invisible. The pups were attacked and he stayed put. He wanted to see how Redd handled himself. The alpha beamed proudly as he didn't stand down to the loner. A growl rumbled in his throat as Kim killed the loner and left the body. He stood up and stopped the omega and three pups. "I'll take Redd from here," he told the fea. "You get Jace to Kira. I want to chat with Redd." He looked at the pup with a corner of his mouth peaking up.

Redd stepped away from his brother and packmates. "What is it, Rage?" He asked, smiling slightly there was blood on his paws from when he inspected the dead body. (Redd's going to be a bit of a sociopath.) "Did I do something wrong, or good?' He asked, the teensiest bit nervous. "I think I was pretty brave."

>> Rage led the small pup back to the dead wolf, away from Kim and his brother. "You were very brave fighting this loner," he commented slyly. He liked the pup's eagerness to talk to him. Most of the wolves, pups included, were either afraid or angry when it came to the alpha. "That loner could have killed you though. What made you stand strong?" His yellow eyes stared down at the pup as they stood next to the deceased loner.

"Thanks!" Redd said, crouching down with his tail up. As Rage asked the next question, he had no problem answering. "It just felt right." He said almost immediately. "I can never back down from a battle." He said. He stared at the deer, and the other body. "When I attacked the deer, it wasn't a survival instinct. Neither when I attacked. I was a want, a need."

Redd nodded. "That sounds right." He said, digging at the ground a little. "Why are you so interested?" He asked. Not in a rude way, though. He really did want to know. If Rage thought he was a threat... No. Rage would have killed him already. He patiently awaited an answer while shredding grass with his sharp claws.

Ruben looked away from the healer, now averting his gaze to the ground. "I'm fine," He sucked in a breath before he continued, "You just make me nervous." He let out a little awkward laugh as he mentally hit himself for saying that. "Sorry." The brute stepped away from the fae, feeling stupid for letting this get to him so much. Wasn't he supposed to be mentally hardened by being a male?
