"Mmkay. You alright with..." Stella looked through the list. "Bernie?" She asked.

Lin wrapped his earbuds around his iPod and stuffed it back into his backpack, setting it on the floor. He climbed up on the top bunk next to Stella and leaned against the wall. "I like Bernie."

[Boo431]

"Sure." she said. She climbed up onto the bed and sat towards the edge of the bed, she could still see Stella's laptop screen. She didn't know them that well and felt kind of awkward, although she felt like that around everyone.

Stella put the laptop in the middle so all of them could see it and clicked on the cover for Bernie. "Have you ever seen this?" She asked Elena.

Elena looked at the screen and could see that the movie was loading. She didn't answer for a couple seconds until she realized Stell was talking to her. She turned and shook her head.

"Oh, it's good." Stella said, smiling. She looked at the screen intently, waiting for it to load.

Lin yawned and leaned in closer to the two to see the screen better. "It's about a muuuuuurder." He said, wiggling his fingers.

Elena laughed quietly and rolled her eyes. She turned her attention back to the screen as she, too, waited for it to load.

The movie finally loaded, and the screen was black. You heard a voice.

I'm very honored to introduce our guest lecturer today. He graduated from here about 15 years ago. He's gone on to a fabulous career. I can't think of a single person who's more qualified or more adept at the final procedures you've been studying lately. Now you've learned the science. Now's your chance to learn the art. Lin popped his knuckles and looked at the screen tiredly.

Stella concentrated on the movie and leaned forward a bit.

Elena listened intently. Stella said it was good, so she was hoping that she thought the same.

Lin narrowed his eyes as 'Bernie' fixed up the corpse for the class. "Jack Black." He hissed.

She heard Lin's comment and guessed he didn't like Jack Black. She had no idea, though. As she watched she played with a necklace she was wearing, a habit she never did lose. She did it when she was focused on something or when she was nervous or anxious. Right now it was a little of all three.
