Afternoon!
I seem to be having problems with my version of Chibipaint
I have the setting set to Chibipaint v2.0 but it still looks like the old one (The biggest giveaway was that the rotation option wasn't available).
I have Java 7 Update 65 and it says that it is enabled in my Chrome browser. I also have a Windows Vista
Maybe I just cant find the rotation option, but I'm just struggling with this >n<
Any help is appreciated!

Sounds like you and Koiley and me all have the same problem. If the solution is found, please let me (and probably Koiley know).

I don't have any pen pressure at all, jtablet seems to not work for me because a lot of others with a Windows 8 computer has it working fine. It doesn't work in any other applications, like the jtablet test drawing thing, but pen pressure works in sai.

That's really odd. Have you made sure that there's no remnants of JTablet related files on your computer that may be messing up the newer installations?

I have recently had problems with Oekaki; I will save a drawing, and when I come back to it, I will get a message saying:

This hasn't caused much of a disruption before, but now it is saying this on a piece I have been working on for almost five hours, saving periodically. I refuse to delete the piece and start over.
I have closed my browser, disconnected from the internet and reconnected, and completely shut down my computer and restarted. Is there anything else I can do?

Only problem: I still can't save!

I've cleared my cache and cookies and all that stuff, but I'm still unable to save. D:

Have you made sure you've updated to the latest version of Java? Tried clearing your cache? (not for you, tea)
Maybe turn off your firewall for a second to see if you can connect then.

polira48387 wrote:A while ago the Oekaki worked fine on my computer but since I have updated my java everything has gone nuts!

After following your instructions on this post (thanks!) I finally got it to work reasonably well... sometimes I have to reload everything because the Oekaki freezes up on me... especially if I try to use the duplicate layer and save and the other file tabs.

Now that I have a picture and its saved I'm having a hard time posting it... Either the save popups come up blank or they freeze as soon as I click anything, so then I have to restart the page... this happens both on safari and firefox

Help? (and thanks again c: )

Is your internet unstable? Can you try to use a cable to connect to the internet and see if that helps?
Also have you cleared your cache?

Make sure you're working on V2.0.

I'm going to attempt to recreate the issue and see if I can find anything.

Double check that you saved V2.0 first. Then clear your cache, maybe something got stuck somewhere.

I cleared my cache and have made sure, multiple times, that v2.0 is saved. It's really strange o w o

EDIT:PROBLEM SOLVED
I keep having problems with my Oekaki. I use Internet Explorer and have Windows 7.
It keeps telling me that chibipaint is blocked by security settings and when I exit out of the pop-up it just says error.
We haven't installed any new security thing or changed any settings and this has never happened before.
Please tell me how to fix this issue.

I have been having this issue as well.

Everything seems to load fine using Firefox and Java (which are updated) the only problem is once its loaded (and the picture appears) a warning box appears saying, before this box appears everything is functioning.

"Do you want to Continue? The connection to this website is untrusted.
website: https://secure.cellosoft.com:443
Note: This certificate is not valid and cannot be used to verify the identity of this website."

at this point I click "continue". Then it shows me Oekaki, I can move my mouse around and I can hover over the File Edit Layers etc. tabs however the drop-down boxes that appear have no text (its just gray). I also cannot draw or click on anything.

Right now I am running on OS X Lion with 10.9.3 version (maverick) I also have Firefox updated to 31 and Java updated to 7.
--Just tested my JTablet and its functioning normally, and is updated.

JTablet seems to be the culprit in a lot of these issues and I wish I could recommend an alternative to it (considering all the issues it brings forth). I had similar issues to several of you earlier this week but for some strange reason it got scared and decided to work. The only thing I have done this week is update my computer to all its latest drivers and then did a restart. If any of you want to, perhaps try that.

Aizui, perhaps you can manually add the link to your browser's whitelist and see if the issue still pops up. This should take out the security warning you receive. Same to you, SK:), is there a possibility that you can add JTablet to the whitelist of your browser or anti-virus or whatever seems to be blocking it?

As has been mentioned before, however, Mac OS X seems to support JTablet less with each update and I certainly hope this isn't going to be a trend.
