【ABOUT THE SPECIES】

Finchlings are a small species of finch-cats known to bring good luck to their owners. They appear to be a cross between the common house cat and a finch, with a small, pointed beak and feathery wings. They're very docile animals, but can become quite aggressive when they feel threatened. The species is also a distant cousin to Parrapups.

Often mistaken as a girl Briar somehow ends up being treated as a female by the other Finchlings even though he does everything like a male of his kind unless he wants a treat of sorts, of course then he'll flutter those cute pink wings and act as cute as he is, even give a few chirps here and there along with a lil song.
He is however very affectionate with the ones he likes especially if they treat him right with love and care, with the odd scratch under the chin.
Speaking of his dislike to being treated as a female he does like the colour pink especially things like blankets, any human treats he can steal from his owner and just generally anything soft. He has to nest in comfort after all.

Like his name he is like a wild rose, both sweet and beautiful with a wildness to him. If you allow him to he'll be in trees perching, anywhere outside that he can be so he can enjoy the out doors. He'll be a bit rough when he plays with other flinchlings and a leap before he thinks because why not? An adventure is an adventure after all and as tiny as they are the world was so big and full that there was so much to see...except when there are berries involved, he will try any so he needs to be watched with those.

This little bundle of joy has never felt any sort of attraction
towards females other than as friends or family. Thus, he is
homosexual.


Cheerful, care-free, flamboyant, and happy - this little
Finchling tends to take life as it comes and tries to find the
positives in each situation that may be negative. He is an
optimistic dreamer, always thinking of what the future may
hold for him and what places it will bring him. Adventurous
is another trait of his - there's not a place in the world he
hasn't been or isn't planning to visit. He is also a romantic,
if anyone were to catch his eye and make him fall for them,
you can be sure that he will treat them as though they were
the most important thing in the world. However, due to him
not being able to sit still and travelling, he's never around a
long enough to create that significant bond with them. When
he is happy, you'll find Sorron chirping away to a little tune that
he had made up, or mocking another animal's call. When upset
however, he tends to be the total opposite as he will be anti-
social, only wanting himself as company. He rarely gets angry,
though when he does he's the kind of person who would choose
flight over fight.

[Soh-rohn]
Sorron is a play on the masculine name 'Soron' which means:
''One who is strict and stern.'' which is rather ironic for this
beautiful boy due to him being the total opposite.


Even though the pink in this Finchling may make them lean
towards making this beauty Female, I can only see it as being
a flamboyant male.
