Subaku ducked when her name was mentioned, her face turning around jerkily as she didn't want to get noticed originally. Smiling awkwardly at Katie, she said, "H-hi Katie. Um no, I was going to just go find her myself..."

'And here comes the teasing...' she said, bracing herself for Kohaku's normal greeting of insults, preparing a few comebacks mentally.

Katie blinked her sapphire blue eyes, watching Subaku as she ducked while she mentioned her name. Seeing that she turned around jerkily, the brunette female giggled at how silly it seemed to her, but she kept her thoughts to herself. "Oh, okay! Well, mind if we tag along?" she asked, forgetting that her teammates were huge rivals.

"Hum, uh... No... I suppose I don't..." she said nervously, turning back to continue walking. She was very, very skeptical of letting them come along, but maybe Katie would play peace keeper.

Katie grinned and nodded, grabbing onto Kohaku's hand and tugging on it as an indication for him to begin walking, or else she would literally drag him along. "Okay, thanks!" she chirped, her smile wavering when she could hear the nervousness in her teammate's voice. Furrowing her eyebrows slightly, she suddenly remembered that she and Kohaku were rivals. Oh well, if anything happened, she'd play peacekeeper like Subaku thought she might.

'Just play it cool, Subaku, and maybe he will just keep hi stupid, smarmy mouth shut...' she thought as she walked ahead of her two teammates. Somehow, she felt like this was wishful thinking.

Shikamaru raised a brow as Kuro spoke of the clouds. Looking up to the clouds he replied lazily, "I guess that's a good way of looking at it." After a pause, and at hearing what she said about a cloud, he asked with a bit of an annoyed tinge to his voice, "What? Look like my hair?" To her mumbling Shikamaru relaxed and questioned boredly, "Ryuu again?"

Kuro nodded, splaying her body out like a star, "If you could go anywhere, to do anything, were would you go Shika?" She asked him, her voice laced with curiousity. She sometimes asked deep questions that just came out of no where and this was one of them.
