I gave a smile at him then, "Thank you..." I murmured. I was holding Alice tightly to myself, she was crying. Storms frightened her, as did most loud noises. "It's okay Alice, I'm here..." I murmured soothingly to her. She had a fistful of my dress in each hand as she cried.

Jonathan frowned lightly and grabbed the soft, stuffed bunny. He looked at it a second before poking Alice with it and showing it to her. He wasn't sure what to do, but maybe this would distract her.

I shifted the child in my arms a little so she could see the bunny. She released my shirt and grabbed onto it. I smiled at Jonathan then, "She likes it..." I murmured. She seemed to snuggled into it, momentarily distracted by the new toy.

"I know" she mumbled. as he pushed her hair out of her eyes she held his hand on her cheek feeling it's warmth. Her eyes wandered to his hair, in the light it looked like tongues of fire, "you're really handsome" she said. Blair reached her other hand across the table and grasped his hand, she gave it a quick squeeze then loosed her grip.

I blushed a little, my cheeks were near enough the same colour as my hair with it. "You're beautiful." I replied softly, squeezing her hand back. My hand stroked her cheek lightly before returning to its original position.

Blair blushed and smiled at him, then sniffed the air, she could smell fresh food. She looked to where a man was coming towards them with two steaming bowls "mmmm foods here!" she said excitedly.

"Ah! Joey, I didn't know you were working today!" I greeted the waiter. He gave a nod, I exchanged a bit of banter with him too and then grinned at Blair. "Enjoy!" I murmured, digging into my food.

Channer nodded his head and stood up, his arms still wrapped around Trishas shoulders. "Its okay," He mumbled to reassure the girl, eyes searching the halls as he walked down them, steadying Trisha as he did so.

Blair didn't hesitate to dig in. She had always had a big appetite and had been scolded for scoffing as a child, but now even if she did eat fast she did so in a graceful manner. "This is gorgeous" she exclaimed happily in between mouthfulls.
