Viho rolled his eyes at her, growling again. She really wasn't taking this half as seriously as he was... But was that a bad thing, or a good one? He was a bit too serious about his job, but was that because of his role or because of Ara? He wasn't actually sure... "Fan out. To the left. I'll take the right. We can cover more ground at once. Report back here in a little while." And with that, he trotted off, wanting to be alone.

Amar coughed, watching them carefully. "Come on then." He said, gray eyes watching the two other wolves. As Ara had predicted, light was fading fast. The remnants of her Storm-summoning did nothing to improve the day light. It was had to see that Amar was related to Ara, the only trait they shared was the dark dorsal stripe that ran along their backs. The tawny brown wolf set off ahead, a little unsure of what to do. "The spot she showed us is a night's walk from here, as the crow flies. If we are to make it by dawn we should hurry. A wolf pack lived there, long ago." He tipped his head to the side as he loped through the forest. "Perhaps they are still there."

Ara was watching through a crows eyes, a trick she had learned from her master. It might kill the bird later, but it had served it's purpose. She made the crow flutter down to a lower branch as it followed the three wolves. Beady black eyes took in every thing there was to see. Crows were her bird of choice, if a bit dramatic. She had always liked the more imposing birds, though a robin or a sparrow might have done just as well, or even better. "Hurry up!" She thought as the bird was side tracked by a worm. No time to waste.
Amar growled under his breath but kept nosing around through the leaf litter. "Smell any thing?" He asked, pawing around for a scent. A loner had passed through here a week ago, but other than that nothing had visited here other than a lone cyote and her cubs. It was unusual at this time of year, but not impossible. A bit of leaf was hanging of his jaw, and as he scraped it off on the bark he noticed a scent.

Viho looked up at the bird, smiling slightly as he caught it's gaze. It was Ara, he was sure of that. But why was she wasting her strength watching them? It didn't make any sense to him. She needed to rest, that he was sure about, so why was she using her abilities without need? As he padded up to the bird, his expression fell blank. "Rest. I can watch these lot. We'll be fine." He smiled weakly at her, his voice soft and gentle.

(Sorry I wasn't on- too much homework. Now I get another test coming up... Well, can you guys tell me what's happening now?)

(Ara has created a plan to head out and find more pack members, and is sending spies in the form of crows into the East to try and fine the Lorial pack.)

Ara:
The bird tipped it's head to the side and shot upwards in a puff of feather, dark wings churning the air. The crow's strength was fading, but she had made her great, great niece a promise before she died. If she let the same fate befall the last member of her family she wouldn't forgive herself. It wasn't like they all died horribly. Maybe a few might have, but that was part of life. Every wolf had a Uncle that had been trampled or killed in a fight, but it wasn't avoidable. She had just outlived them. Her bird fluttered a little higher, still keeping an eye on the wolves.

Amar:
He had turned to watch the bird, which was now flitting about nervously. She must be losing hold on it. "I'm sure she has her reasons." He said, sniffing the air as he looked around. "Our point is still a few miles up ahead, I would suggest walking, though, we should save our energy for things to come. He shook out the thick ruff of fur around his neck with a yawn. "Have either of you scented anything other than this fox?" He asked, wrinkling his nose at the reek of the little canine.

Viho shook his head, tearing his eyes from the bird to look at Amar. "No. That is it so far..." He raised his head, tipping it slightly so his nose could reach higher. "I can smell nothing from here, although the wind isn't helping us very much." The wind was going in the direction they were trying to scent... Sending their scent forwards. If there was something over there, it would soon know they were there. "Guys. Move left. Out of the wind. If there is anything over there, we want to keep our presense unknown. Don't we..."
