"Whatever." Sage rolled her eyes. Her phone rang, indicating she had a text. She picked it up and read it, her face slightly falling as she bit her lip and put her phone away. She glanced around nervously and shifted.

I sat with Yap, bored.

"Hey whats wrong?" Griffin asked noticing her face fall

"Nothing" Sage said quickly, grabbing a plastic cup and filling it with some water, then drinking it.

"Okay...." he trailed off knowing something was wrong but he was letting it go

I smiled. Yap bounced up and down. "She's a Pomeranian and her name is Yap."

"Hi Yap" Jade said bending down and patting the dog's head. "Aaah well, I'm gonna go find my sister..uh..nice meeting you." She did a quick bow thingy and scurried off to the pool.

Sydney smiled and laughed lightly. "It's okay, I kinda am too." She told her.

Casey laughed her head lolling back. "Aahha That's good. Well..I mean not exactly good, I just meant like..hmmm. Good as in like I'm not the only one." She smiled, rethinking what she just said and making a weird face.

Sydney smiled, taking her smoothie when it was done. "So where are you from?" She asked.

When Sydney asked where she was from, Casey's face fell for a split second, but quickly returned to a kind smile. "Oh...everywhere I guess! Maybe you could say nowhere." She grinned brighter at her riddle like words. "I grew up in and out of foster homes. When my sister turns 19, she says she is going to take care of me herself. I think the whole foster parents thing frusturates her. What about you? Where you from?" She asked with genuine curiosity.
