Oekaki/Java problems & solutions

Is there a reason why Jtablet isn't working for me? I'm using a windows 8 and I've downloaded it/uninstalled it almost three times now and my lines still look like crap on Oekaki.

Do your lines look bad because of the lack of pen pressure or because you don't have smoothing cranked up a bit?
Also, does your pen pressure work on other programs?

Even when I have smoothing up, they still look awful. I don't have any pen pressure at all, jtablet seems to not work for me because a lot of others with a Windows 8 computer has it working fine. It doesn't work in any other applications, like the jtablet test drawing thing, but pen pressure works in sai.

Hello!

I have recently had problems with Oekaki; I will save a drawing, and when I come back to it, I will get a message saying:

This hasn't caused much of a disruption before, but now it is saying this on a piece I have been working on for almost five hours, saving periodically. I refuse to delete the piece and start over.
I have closed my browser, disconnected from the internet and reconnected, and completely shut down my computer and restarted. Is there anything else I can do?

I know this may sound super stupid, but I can't find where to open Oekaki :c I've looked everywhere, and I can't find it! I'm on a Windows 8 laptop and I'm using Google Chrome, thanks in advance!

On the top there's stuff saying Home My stuff Adopts that lead you to tabs. Well, click art, go to Oekaki boards then go the the beginners Oekaki. Above the first post there is a little bar saying NEWDRAWING. Click that and begin c:

A while ago the Oekaki worked fine on my computer but since I have updated my java everything has gone nuts!

After following your instructions on this post (thanks!) I finally got it to work reasonably well... sometimes I have to reload everything because the Oekaki freezes up on me... especially if I try to use the duplicate layer and save and the other file tabs.

Now that I have a picture and its saved I'm having a hard time posting it... Either the save popups come up blank or they freeze as soon as I click anything, so then I have to restart the page... this happens both on safari and firefox

Welp, I've got Oekaki to work again. c:
Only problem: I still can't save!

I've cleared my cache and cookies and all that stuff, but I'm still unable to save. D:

this is what i think is the problem;

JTablet only has plugins for Mac OS X leopard, snow leopard, and lion only. however, my Mac is a mountain lion, and apparently, that is different from the average lion.

but i still don't get it.

Hello there...
I had jTablet running for Ages now and it worked fine. But after a Java update , my computer says it is dangerous and doesn't let me use it anymore. I tried almost everything....from reinstalling Java + jtablet multiple times to putting my safety programs to 0 . Nothing worked. Did anybody had similar problems? Can anybody help me?

i don't believe so. but i've never used photoshop before so i'm not too sure. ^-^
