Beto shook his head. "Why did you," he paused, feeling uncomfortable saying it, "fall in love with me?" As far as he could tell, Kironaa couldn't see any redeeming qualities in him. Hell, he couldn't see anything good about him, except maybe his jokes. He just wondered how it ever got like that, when he'd be less surprised if she got scared of him.

Kironaa's blue eyes widened and she stared at Beto for a second before frowning. "Why did, I fall in love with you?" She repeated slowly, her eyes narrowing slightly but they softened as she let out a small chuckle. "Even I don't know that, I used to believe you were the best person in the world, someone I could trust, that you'd be there forever, that you could be something more then family, and something more then a friend, that you could take care of me and give me the attention I wanted" She said slowly and then let out a small laugh. "But love isn't real, there is no such thing as it. So if it's not real, why was I so sure I had found it? Hhmm, maybe that's because I WANTED it to be true, I wanted to feel love, and I felt something toward you. But it's gone now, so is love, and so is my ability to believe anything I can't see. I don't believe people have souls, not that love is real, nor other things like that" She whispered and closed her eyes before opening them again and looking up at Beto.

Betobeto was speechless for a while, choosing instead to think over what she said. Once he thought about it, against his better judgement he decided to clap.
After a bit of that, he looked into Kironaa's eyes and spoke. "Very good. I never thought you'd be able to spit that out. Welcome to life!" he said it oddly seriously. "Love exists, but it's strange. It's not just there, it develops over time. and even then the person you love mightn't feel the same way. Most of the time they won't."
He stood there in silence, feeling slightly exposed having actually said something that could be called a 'life lesson'.

"Love doesn't exist, it's just a weird sort of possessive controlling worshiping piece of crap I want to throw off a cliff and never have the feeling again! I don't care if no one 'Loves' me, because I give up. I don't want it anymore, I HATE love" Kironaa said and narrowed her bright blue eyes angrily, a bit frustrated that Beto had clapped after she poured her heart out to him, she sighed and then smiled. "I'll be happy, without love, I don't need it. And I certainly don't want to love you again Betobeto" She said and then beamed.

Betobeto chose to ignore the coldness in Kironaa's voice and shrugged. "Well that's a load off my back. I felt bad about you loving me, and it scares me a little when people trust me," he smiled slightly, but it soon lowered and his face bacame more serious. "It's sad to see that you give up om things so easily... what a typical teenager. Oh well, each to their own beleifs." He only muttered the part about the teenager quietly, but he didn't care if Kironaa heard or not. He would prefer it if she did.

"Your the one who assured me my beliefs were fake, whats the point of love when the one you love doesn't love you back?" Kironaa said and shrugged her thin shoulders lightly. Her blue eyes were narrowed angrily and she grit her teeth.

[Erymry]

Betobeto rolled his eyes. "See? You're taking things too seriously," he said. "Don't give up on things just because one thing went wrong. Just move on." Betobeto groaned as he realised that was hypocritical and that he should take his own advice, but didn't say anything, assuming that Kironaa would just be able to tell that he's thinking that.

"I still don't like you very much, hypocrite" Kironaa said and scowled at Beto's thoughts, she rolled her blue eyes slightly and put her hands on her hips, her eyes narrowing further. "I give up" She muttered under her breath, a small sad frown on her face.

"Then leave," said Betobeto, rolling his eyes. He didn't bother commenting about being called a hypocrite, because he knew he was. At least he was trying to get over his past, and used to be quite good at it. "It's not like I'm forcing you to stay."

"I'm the one who has to live here, YOU go away, no one even likes you here. Go away and fantasize about your girlfriend" Kironaa said coldly and stood up a little straighter, her blue eyes defiant, the ratty clothes she wore expressing her thin shoulders which were bare.
