Donnie looked at April and knelt beside her, examining the wrist carefully. "You're right," he consented with a dip of his head. "It's not that bad." he stood up, putting a hand to his chin. "I guess it shouldn't be too much of a problem. Just tell me if it starts to bug you." He sighed; he was getting really tired of dealing with the endless burns. The fires had become tedious. At this rate, the extensive exposure to smoke would give him lung cancer before he was even sixteen. "I'll take you up on that offer for pizza, Leo," he added, moving towards the blue-masked turtle as his eyes fell on the food again.

Link started as her gaze landed on someone moving towards her - two people, actually. She telepathically picked up their presences and quickly identified them: the siblings from the Inferno. Her expression contorted into that of indecision, suddenly torn between staying to see Seiko and running to escape Hiro. Surely, the brother only wished to return her to the Spark. As for Seiko...the intentions of the one known as Seiko were not as clear. Still feeling threatened, she took a few panicked steps back, her breathing-rate heightened. You will not harm Link!!!!!! she practically screamed into their brains, the telepathic voice tinged with an edgy panic resemblant of a cornered animal.

R&B's face heated just a bit when she caught the subtle implications of his remark on non-humans, but she cocked her head to the side, appearing interested. "I'm listening," she assured him as she started to walk with him towards the park. She wondered what he could possibly have to offer...if it was more exciting than lounging around in the sewers with nothing but an iPod and a half-empty spray-paint bottle as entertainment, she was willing to consider it.

Leo swallowed the last of his third peice. Even though he wanted more he knew Donnie had been working hard acting as the unofficial medic. "You can have the rest. " he said handing it over to Donatello. "I think space heroes is on now anyways." He turned on the tv and plopped down in front of it watching the amazing Captain Ryan.

The Spark pointed discretly to some shady looking characters talking lowly in a huddle. "Are you aware that the cities crime rate has risen 16% in the past few months? The council of this city is weak and tolerates crime and disarray when a stronger force needs to be used to stop it." He looked at the girl standing straight. "I am that stronger force. But my dream cannot be made into reality without the help that hasbeen given to mw by my.. abnormal ffriends. You couls be one of us. Help me restore order to the city. It is not without your own personal benefits of course. "

||We did a time-skip ^.^ Leo's watched Space hero's Donnie's doing uh, stuff...I wasn't really paying any attention it him .-. Aurora's still knocked out and April came back to the Lair with a few burns. Also Hiro and Seiko hound Link.||

Hiro leaped off the fire escape, walking over to Link with a sly smirk. "Well this is a pleasant surprise. I thought we were just gonna rob someone then be on our mary little way. But no, this is even bet-" Hiro's mean taunt was cut off by Link's telepathic voice screaming in his head. He grunted and grabbed his head with one hand, his other hand made it's way to a dagger he placed in his pocket. "Your gonna pay for that you little freak!" He shouted, running at the pink-haired girl. Seiko, after recovering from that yell inside her mind, stepped back a bit as Hiro went to attack Link. Seiko's sheathed katana was at her side in its holster, but she didn't show any signs of planning on taking the silver sword out.

[as for what Donnie was doing, he basically finished Aurora's new camera, left it in the lab, and then went to check up on April. And now he's marveling at the quantity of pizza he just scored XD]

Donnie's mouth hung open slightly as Leo offered him the rest of the pizza. The purple-masked turtle hadn't had anything to eat since this morning - he'd gotten pretty caught up in his work with the camera - and right now this looked like manna from Heaven. "Are you sure, Leo?" he drooled, but he was already helping himself to a couple of slices. The melted cheese tasted excellent, and the greasy aroma seemed to enhance the flavor tenfold. He found a nice little niche on the couch where he could sit and chow down relatively undisturbed, only briefly casting a grateful glance at the blue-masked turtle.

Link looked around desperately for something to fight with. Surely, she could not do battle with only her mind?
...Or could she?
She shut her eyes and let out another skull-shattering wave of telepathic shrieking, curling up into a ball and rocking back and forth in misery. You will not take Link back, you will not take Link back!!!!!!!!!

R&B glanced at him. "What kind of benefits...?" she asked, momentarily flicking her gaze to the huddle of figures he'd pointed to before returning it to the man. "How could you possibly get rid of all this crime? What exactly are you planning to do???" Now he had her hooked - this was probably the most exciting opportunity she'd come across since...well, since the Rat King. Finally, a chance to grab some action again. A chance to leap into battle and fight for a cause. It was what she had grown up doing, and now she had the opportunity to do it once more.

The Spark looked back at her aware of the temptation she had just been given. Surprisingly he wasnt even lying. He was leaving out a few important details but when he ruled this town the crime would stop unless it was crime he had given orders to carry out. "Put in place stricter conditions and consequences for those who choose to be a ineffective member of society. Regulations that should already be in place." He smiled slightly going back to her own personal gain. "As for the benefits, it's money, insurence, whatever you need. I pay in a variety of ways. With added benefit of being with others for emotional support."

Takasei stood at the top of a lit streetlight near two people{Spark and ?}, listening to the conversation going on between the two. He was lucky to have gotten off with nothing more than a warning, that he was, but now he was off doing his own thing. So far, he found himself unable to trust the man, and he decided to make both that fact and his presence known. "Let me guess. In return, you get full control over crime in the city. When something is stolen, you're the one who gets it. When a bank gets robbed, you're suddenly rolling in the green, yes? Seriously, men like you always have the worst intentions. I thought one Oroku Saki was enough."

The Spark narrowed his eyes as a new stranger came up openly challened his authority. But who was this Oroku Saki he spoke of? "I'm afraid I don't understand your question." He asked his voice condescending. "However I am curious as to who you happen to be. And why you have such a high interest in our cities criminal activity." He said figuring that he was either very stupid or very influential. Whichever it was it was best to tread carefully.

Hiro let out a yell of pain as Link went out more waves of screaming, but he manged to stand afoot, while Seiko who was taken by surprise, stumbled and fell. Seiko gasped and placed her hands on her temples as the screeching sound waves attacked her ears. Hiro growled and shook his head clear, seeing that Link was now in a ball, he ran at her again. As he neared, he pointed his dagger at her. "You might wanna shut up now.." He hissed coldly.
