He heard Chase speak and tore his gaze away from Kasey and looked at the brute. He looked at the ground as he thought about what Chase had told him. He looked back up with a smile, as he was almost positive that he knew where their pack was. He then looked back at Kasey and shook his head. "No, i would never let anyone, man or dog, take or harm you. Not without a fight." he told her, finding himself getting lost in her eyes again. He heard Chase grunt and he looked at the brute. He laid his ears down as it looked like Chase was getting a little uncomfortable. He stood up and cleared his throat, adverting his gaze from both Chase and Kasey. "Uh, well, I'm pretty sure i know where your camp is if you want to leave now." he said, glancing at both dogs, though not giving Kasey an answer about joining the pack. He almost thought about asking if they wanted to stay a night out with him but, he was sure that Chase would never go for it and he felt weird around Kasey.. A good weird but, he still couldn't quite figure out what it was..

She smiled softly and nodded as she listened to Dusty. She watched as he began to pull at the bag of food. She then turned and began walking away, thankful to be going back with some food that she would be able to eat later. She headed back down the street and towards the abandoned car that she was using as her current shelter.

Vixen stayed where she was and looked around, confused, trying to figure out the issue, the dog catcher wasn't around. She saw the humans get out of the car and tensed up before bolting after him at full sprint quickly passing Sam and Koda. "Move faster slow pokes!" she teasingly yelled back at the two males, turning it into a race to the bridge.

Sam watched Vixen run past and took off after her when she yelled back at them, he was determined to keep up with her and hopefully leave the annoying male behind in the dust. (WB)

He smiled and perked up. "Sounds great!" Chase barked as he stood up, shaking his jet black fur. He was glad to get away from Nero and the alley. Chase felt very strange when the brute gazed at his sister and didn't want to start a fight.

Her eyes gazed into the brutes eyes again, feeling almost swept up."Thats really kind-" She paused, hearing her brother's grunt. Kasey glanced to her brother, expressing her annoyance. Seeing her brother answer for the both, stood up, not wanting to leave just yet. Kasey wanted to know more about the pitbull, but she stood up with a small smile.

Koda

Koda frowned, he didn't particularly like running at full speed only to chase a girl and her awful father. In order to prevent running from happening, he should have gotten her scent. He sped up his pace then soon with to a full blown bolt. It was hard catching up with them, but he managed doing so. He attempted going faster in order to catch up with Vixen, but instead he was a few feet behind Sam. He began to pant, "How long will we be running for?" He said in between deep breaths.

Korra's eyes widened. She kept her head low Ans her tail was shamefully tucked between her legs. "I-I didn't mean to. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." She apologized. She didn't know why she was running, she just was. She turned around and started walking away from the female.

Honey

Honey trotted up beside her, "Hey! Don't go. I apologize for my behavior." She barked sympathetically. She stood in front of the fae, "Your a German Shepherd are you not?" She asked noticing her distinct markings. "Where you a police dog once? Do you work for the pound- if you do I'll have to kill you." She barked aggressively. She began to chuckle, "I'm just playin with ya." SHe said and sat down looking at her neck to avoid eye contact.

Korra couldn't help but stutter. "I-I-I'm part German Shepherd, yes. The other half is Retriever. G-Golden retriever. I don't work with anyone..." she looked down. Didn't know what to do or say so she sat down. The fae had blocked Korra's path so Korra waited politely.

Honey

Honey frowned, "What's the rush about?" She asked noticing how she looked almost miserable. "Do you have anywhere to,be- OH! You must have a mate. Is he waiting for you? Do you love him? Where is he?" She asked piling on questions for Korra to answer. Honey sighed then moved out of the way, She's awfully shy. She thought frowning slightly.

"I-I don't have anyone. No one is waiting on me." Korra slowly stood up, her ears were tucked back, her face held a sad expression. She slowly started walking away from Honey. "Good day to you."

[Kat~]

Vixen giggled and stopped under a old bridge that looked like a feather could cause its collapse. She looked up as a train rumbled over making the old bridge groan and creak in protest from the heavy train. She smiled and panted before looking over at Koda, "You aren't nearly as fit as a stray," she giggled happily, her tail wagging.

Sam stopped near the river to lap up water before laying down under the bridge. He sighed and stretched out on the cool earth and closed his eyes hoping for a bit of rest before other animals tried to take this location, it was a nice spot, the road didn't pass this area keeping the dogcatcher away and the river was cool, the only problem was the noise the trains made all trough the night and a pack of coyotes lived in this area.

Naima padded down the street, her black and white ears twitching and swiveling rapidly. The border collie made a sharp right into a ally, which contained many garbage cans. She quickly nuzzled the two pups into a cardboard box, so that they could sleep. After the two were asleep she slowly knocked over a garbage can, making as little noise as possible. Once the female had knocked it over she ripped open the bag and grabbed a slice of bread and a piece of a fish. Naima ate quickly, trying to make sure that no one found the three of them.
