favorite adventure: Nature's Heaven, nicknamed Barker for both his love of making noise and Bark from trees, loves nothing more than camping trips. Every year in Summer he would go out on one, but there was always something new to do. One year he was being used as a riding horse for people needing access to the mountains to watch the animal population as quite a few had been going down. One night he heard a racket, and when the cry for help of an animal rose it was all this furious, protector of nature horse needed to kick and pull frantically until he got away. Running with all the speed he possessed to catch up with the animal in need of help. At coming across a man with a weapon raised above his head, Barker didn't need to think twice about knocking into him, yet was careful to not hurt the man that badly. He waited patiently, keeping the man on the ground until one of the rangers came to find him, them seeming surprised yet thankful of his services in catching the hunter. From then on, he's always been given an extra apple, carrot or even sugar cube with every meal.

favorite adventure: My favorite summer adventure was leasing a horse for the very first time this summer. I am leasing a 3 year old horse named Cruz. He was kicked by his om when he was a baby so he will not grow any taller than 14 hands. It has been a great experience for me teaching him and learning my self. He is the love of my life and i enjoy getting to see him whenever i can.

Her favorite is to splash around in water,or beeing wet,this keeps her away from the heat.Her owners often get her for rides near the sea.In the stables there is special pool for horses as well so she enjoy this too. In the summer,when she see water its most likely she will jump or roll in it.After she is enought wet she go under the biggest tree (logically with the biggest shadow) and is ready to lazzy and stay there for the whole day,unless somebody distrubs her...then she just changes the tree but there are times where she can be quite snappy for her shadow spot.

It was an early summer day, and the sun's scorching rays were already beginning to beat down on the horses in the pasture. The water buckets, no matter how full, seemingly grew empty in a matter of seconds and constantly had to be refilled by the barn staff.

Because of the excruciating heat, one of the horse owners decided that it would be better to take a ride on the beach than to sit outside and burn up. She loaded her trusty mare, Summer, into the trailer and drove downtown to where she knew the beach was located. Once they arrived, Summer was taken out of the trailer to study her surroundings. It was far different from what she was used to, however, it wasn't long before she began to enjoy it. She could smell the salty water in the air, and she could hear the screeching of seagulls fighting for a crab in the distance. It was strangely soothing to her, and she allowed herself to relax as the saddle was placed on her back. After being fully tacked in her usual riding gear, her rider mounted and attempted to steer her into the water. At first, the waves frightened her and she refused to budge, but after some gentle persuasion she cautiously complied. The feeling of the water was strange, but not exactly unpleasant. In fact, after a while she began to enjoy the water splashing against her legs as she trotted through the ocean. It was new, yet exiting and she absolutely loved it. The summer heat was now long forgotten as the beach loving mare cantered through the waves until the sun began to set.
