"A girl!" Pharaoh exclaimed in fury. "By the Nile, a girl! I've waited many years and fathered several children but honestly, I've already had a daughter! The mother may raise this useless kitten!" He threw the newborn kit to the weak mother in her bed, who managed to catch her child in her paws. "You've grown ungrateful, Pharaoh. I refuse to take it. Guards, seize him." The Pharoah shouted in protest, but was taken away in the end. "Give the kit to a nurse, she'll make better use of her." She handed the kitten to a servant who nodded and scurried off with the princess in his paws.

And that's how I was born.

This has very good potential, well done. I am looking forward to reading more. Just a note, if you are basing this on the real Cleopatra, she had 2 brothers, and the Pharaoh, Ptolemy XII Auletes, only had 4 children. But, as a fictional story, it is good so far . Just thought a little back ground info would be good.
