Rainpaw sat in the shallow water near the soft sand. "What do you want to talk about?" She asked Bubbleclaw.

Bubbleclaw shrugged. "What's it like being an apprentice nowadays?"

Rainpaw chuckled. "Probably just like it was when you were an apprentice. Applepool never takes me out to train anymore, though." The she-cat mewed sadly.

"Oh." Bubbleclaw frowned. "Maybe you can come with I and Larkpaw sometimes."

Rainpaw smiled. "I'd like that. Larkpaw and I are good friends." She replied.

"Really?" He tilted his head.

Rainpaw nodded. "She's shy at first, but once you get to know her she's really fun!" She answered, thinking about Larkpaw and Darkpaw.

Bubbleclaw nodded. "Yeah."

Rainpaw licked her paw. "So what do you wanna do now...?" She asked.
