show name; Fatal Curiosity
barn name; Tyke
gender; Gelding, cannot breed
age; Seven years, making him a young horse with plenty of energy and time to train.
Owner; Kat, an experienced rider in multiple categories.
discipline; Show jumping, for his naturally quick gates allow him to clear courses in record time. Another reason he shows in this category is that the time limit keeps him constantly alert, so his curiosity can't cause him to become sidetracked nor interfere with his performance.
personality; Upon first inspection, Tyke is a strong willed gelding with excellent potential. However, there's a bit more to this show horse that meets the eye. He's actually a complete wildcard, and usually needs a rider with confidence to keep him balanced out. In fact, unless he feels completely under control, he'll panic and become filled with insecurities. Therefore, he's always needing little reminders to keep him focused and feeling secure. When he becomes sidetracked, there's a good possibility he'll stop listening to any of your commands whatsoever and go into a state of panic. Although he's obviously a bit of work, it's worth it in the long run. In fact, he's actually an extremely successful show horse, and with a little push he can easily come in first place. His usual discipline is show jumping, for he lacks the patience for hunter or dressage. It's not a good idea to show him in cross country either, for one of his frequent mistakes could easily cause major damage to both him and the rider. He could also become paranoid if the jumps aren't what he's used to, as he likes to stick to routine and work on what he does best. With other horses, it's the same way. Tyke's not good with strangers, and often becomes intimidated when a new horse enters his pasture. This insecurity can eventually turn into aggression, and he has fought with other horses out of fear in the past. As you can see, he's not quite a champion, but with time, and a bit of hard work, he'll get there.
story; It had been a while since Tyke was last in a show, and there weren't many available during the winter either. This fact proved to be extremely unfortunate for the gelding, as he had hardly any ways to release his energy other than jumping, and he had become a nervous wreck because of it. He would constantly be found pacing in his stall, throwing his head up and nickering loudly in protest to being locked up inside. It wasn't much better in the fields either, for whenever he was let out all he did was gallop mindlessly and pick fights with the other geldings. It was almost painful to watch all of his potential being forgotten for months. However, an opportunity soon made itself known when a jumping show was announced to be held at the yearly winter festival. Upon hearing this, Kat couldn't possibly decline, and preparations began instantly.
Tyke, grateful to finally receive some attention, was surprisingly cooperative during the braiding process. Usually, he was a bit fussy when you pulled on his mane, but today he gave little protest. Although he did attempt to bite her just once. After just an hour, his mane was completely braided in an appropriate style, and Kat decided that would be enough for one day. She fetched her things, and then headed home for the night.
When she returned the next day, she decided to take him out on a test drive, considering he hadn't been ridden in quite some time. Once she successfully mounted the gelding, she gave the command to trot, and he complied almost instantly. His form, however, was far from perfect and he was a bit top heavy when they went up to the canter. The moment he noticed the first jump, he sped up considerably and leaped over the fence. Although things appeared to be going smoothly now that he had adjusted his formation, Tyke ended up refusing one of the higher jumps, which probably resulted from his lack of training. However, with a bit more persuasion, he cleared the fence with a smooth landing.
The next day was the day of the show, and Kat woke up extra early to board him into the trailer. As usual, it wasn't hard to get him inside the trailer, but it took a bit more effort to calm him down. Unused to the change in environment, he was quite antsy and could be heard moving around inside. He didn't seem to be distressed however, so she let him be and they headed off to the event.
Upon their arrival, which was a bit early, Kat finished braiding his tail and fixed up his mane a bit. She also tacked him in their usual color scheme, and made sure he was completely turned out for show. Once a few more hours had passed, the enent had finally begun and the first contestants were completing their round. Kat watched them with intest, observing herc ompetition and comparing them to her own skill level. So far, none of them were much of a threat, condidering this was a local show rather than the usual high-end ones she competed in. Thus, she was relaxed and confident while she waited to be called into the ring. When their turn had arrived at last, Kat mounted Tyke with ease and they began the round. The jumps weren't too high, the tallest being a 3'6" vertical, so Tyke was able to clear them easier than normal. However, Kat still didn't want him to become overconfident, she she kept him busy throughout the event. A few of their turns ended up being wider than they needed to be, causing them to lose time, but Kat felt the judges would overlook it since the other contestants had made far worse mistakes. One pair had even knocked down a jump during the performance, which must've been truly embarrassing. The rest of the round was over quickly, and none of it was too challenging. However, it had still been a while since Tyke had showed, so there was bound to be flaws in their routine. After a few more contestants finished, the judges added scored and announced the winners. It didn't bother Kat too much when she found out they had placed third overall, for at least she was able to let Tyke be free once again.

Fenji loves the thrill of risk and routinely engages himself in high-risk activities. He does not worry too much about others, for he expects each being to be responsible for him- or herself. Fenji is silver-tongued, gifted in the gentle art of winning friends and influencing people. He loves to keep moving. Fenji settles down only to have the urge to pick up and go, explore, move out, move on.
History: Fenji is not one to look back on when he was a colt. He had infinite energy and unharnessed spirit that flowed through the foal's veins. He was strong but yet carless with his strength. Fenji made more damage to anything than any other foal or horse combined. Being the fiery little warrior that he was, he decided to challenge a rattler snake that was in his path. Coming up to step on the snake, the rattler started to shake it's tail and the snake bundled up ready for a bite. Fenji is about to walk the rattler flat, but the snake strikes. Fenji turns away, but to quick. Tripping over himself, he slams into the wood fence behind him smashing a large hole in the side of the fence line. Getting up, Fenji trots away snorting.

(He wasn't bitten)
