She looked at the brute and blinked, the first cat ever to try and socialize. Normally her sour attitude was enough to send the kits away whimpering. Letting the fur on her nape slowly rest, she though it over.. Hunt, or think about killing Ivypaw. Even though both offers tempted her, she would prefer to be a little more helpful to her clan. Although she wasn't fast on the reply, it came out rather quickly. " Sure, anything to blow off some steam.". She said with a glimmer of amusement in her voids. She was often ridiculed for over killing, however it was an outlet of her anger. Most didn't understand any bit of it, but it didn't matter, as long as she understood herself.

Nightfrost padded out of his den finishing the clean. he knew now was about time to go hunting and he decided to not let his apprentice wait any longer. he padded to the meeting crookedpaw's gaze. Nightfrost was recently let loose to continue warrior duties by Larkstar, Fallenheart included. He looked down at crookedpaw and smiled. "good evening. good evening." he added to his apprentice. "okay lets go now. Is crookedpaw coming now?" he said wondering if his apprentice made more plans he did not know about. He sighed seeing another familiar cat run up. The one and only Ebonypaw, the most annoying apprentice ever. He sighed and looked away hoping the cat talked to them and not him. besides he was still waiting for Fawnleap.

Ebonypaw raced out of his den. Seeing Nightfrost, Volepaw and Crookedpaw. He looked around for Ivypaw seeing her and waved his tail. but she seemed to deep in through to notice, she didn't seem happy. he padded over to the little forming patrol. "hey Nightfrost I see you ache two apprentices want to add one?" Nightfrost looked over sighing. 'Wy is it that every time a cat goes out every apprentices comes along for the ride?" Ebony answered that quickly. "because were bored." he smiled then turned looking at Volepaw and Crookedpaw. "hello fellow apprentices. How was your day?"

Volepaw smiled. "Cool. Until then I guess we just have to sit here and wait." He looked at the she-cat, his pale eyes friendly. Most cats talked about how mean Crookedpaw could be, how she was bad just because she wasn't from the clan. But Volepaw knew there was more to every cat than just the exterior. Maybe she seemed cold, but she had been through a lot. Wasn't Volepaw still planning his revenge for Rosepaw's death? Not that he would tell anyone that. He was the sweet cat, the one who couldn't do anything. Nobody knew he snuck out at night to train, or that he was building up muscle beneath his tan pelt. None of the warriors suspected that he was investigating each cat in the clan every second of the day. Flicking his ear, he tried to focus on something other than revenge. Just then Nightfrost approached, and Ebonypaw soon after. Volepaw stood, feeling Nightfrost's gaze like fire through his pelt. Uncomfortable, he shuffled his paws. "Hey, yeah, can she come?"

The chocolate hued femmora let her voids narrow, the sight of Ebonypaw made her sick. She let a husky growl rumble in her larynx, and travel up out of her muzzle. Biting back a sharp retort, she shuffled closer to Volepaw, there pelts brushing. Although she was stiff, she tried hard to make her self look slightly relaxed, not wanting to raise alarm. Normally she didnt like coming into contact with other cats so she cringed at the thought of there pelts brushing, however she wanted to look somewhat normal

Ebonypaw looked up at Nightfrost noticing how stiff Volepaw was around the older Tom. He let an ear drop and the other one drop. "Why so quiet? Nightfrost is not that scary." he laughed and looked up at Nightfrost who was staring coldly down at him. Ebonypaw swallowed looking away form him. "Maybe he is." Just then Ebonypaw heard the Tom chuckling and Ebonypaw looked up smiling now. "Not funny!" Nightfrost shook his head and looked down at his own apprentice. "Anyone can come once Fawnleap hurries up." Ebonypaw turned to Volepaw. "Volepaw, how many moons until you are a warrior?"

Volepaw tried to relax. He noticed Crookedpaw inching closer to him, but said nothing. Maybe Nightfrost made her uneasy, too? Watching Ebonypaw and Nightfrost talk, he felt a pang of envy. He had never made Nightfrost chuckle, not once. He answered Ebonypaw's question in a low voice. "I'm nine moons, so three moons until I get my name. You get your name next moon, right?" He cocked his head, doing the math in his head. Yeah, next moon. And Ivypaw with him. Not surprising, since they were kitted only a few days apart, apprenticed at the same time. They did everything together, and Volepaw couldn't help wishing eh had a friend like that.
