he/she is based on jumping spiders, which are spiders that specialize in, well, jumping. cx
they have longer legs than normal, and have an unusual collar; spider silk is spread out delicately behind it. Although this pony is technically an earth pony, young spiders are known to use strands of silk to help them 'float' from place. Combined with an unusual talent in jumping, the silk helps them float to where they'd like to go. Sort of like an odd way for an earth pony to fly cx
