alex has always been fairly reserved though
he has managed to open up to wren, his best
friend. he was nearly silent before he befriended
the boy. he's still pretty quiet though he's much
more talkative than he was before. drawing is
one of his favorite hobbies, sometimes drawing
wren when he wasn't looking--though he'd probably
be mortified if anyone found out. he realized that
he likes boys when he was about thirteen and ever
since then he's been very cautious about anyone
finding out, even wren. he's very reserved and
sometimes because of this he comes off rather
blunt and accidentally ends up offending some
people. this makes him fairly unliked though he
doesn't care as long as wren never leaves his side
and his dæmon of course (though she kind of
couldn't leave even if she wanted to). he doesn't
remember his life before the camp and he's scared
that his life is going to be cut short since his
and wren's eighteenth birthdays are both approaching,
and everyone knows you don't come back after eighteen.



katrin is quite the energetic little dæmon, being rather
opposite to her human. she often uses heavy amounts
of sarcasm and is kind to pretty much everyone she meets.
she sometimes uses her mouse form to hide in her humans
jacket to tell him how to do things that he should be able
to do by himself, like talking to people for example though
sometimes she likes to embarrass him in front of the others
just for fun. despite that, she cares for her human as much
as any other dæmon would. she's more often in the form
of an arctic fox though she's also a mouse quite often. she
rarely ever uses any of her other forms, her rarest one being
the caribou.
