Rose padded forward, her tail flicking nervously. She looked around at the clan cats, they would be the cats to decide if she would stay.

Nightpaw sat down, curling his tail around his paws. The tom was silent and he watched, blue eyes curious.

Honeypaw shuffled her paws at his praise, "Thank you." She almost whispered as she glanced up at him meeting his gaze for only a blink before looking back down at her paws.


Briarstar saw Rose and Nightpaw as they gathered below high-cliff, "Tigerclan, Rose has asked to stay with us and learn the ways of our noble code. Usually we do not except outsiders into our clan, though she had done us a great favor when she helped Windstream." Glancing up at the sky and then back down to the clan, "I call this meeting to ask for your thoughts on the matter." Pausing she waited for input from the others.

Smokestar meowed,"we'll hunt on the way back. Let's go."

Nightpaw stood up. "She should join us. She tried her best to save Windstream. But she was in Starclan's paws already. Also, more cats means more mouths to feed, but it also means more warriors to feed and defend the clan."

Rose looked to Nightpaw, a thankful look glimmering in her pale yellow eyes.

Loudpaw flicked his tail, "I think she should..she may have been a kittypet but she fought to protect my mentor, Windstream in her time of need."

Briarstar nodded at both of them, grateful for their input on the subject. Eyes meeting Rose's pelt for a moment thinking of how all this would end. Flicking her green gaze to her litter-mate with a sigh as he started to speak.


Hawkwing sat in the back of the clan like usual, he normally didn't participate in clan discussion but he couldn't believe his ears, "Seriously? We are considering this? She was a kittypet and only helped Windstream because she was already trespassing on our territory! This loner should stay where she belings, not here. Kits know more about hunting and battle than she does!" His tone was bold as he spoke out against the she-cat.

Honeypaw nodded at Smokestar with almost a smile. With the few moons of training they've been through she'd gotten pretty good at hunting, it was her best skill.

Rose bit back a remark about fighting the foxes. Instead she flicked her tail and kept her anger inside. She was too smart to let her anger control her.

"If she didn't know anything about fighting then my guess would be that she would have died along with Windstream at the paws of the foxes!" Loudpaw retorted.

Hawkwing tried to bite back his short-temper but it didn't work. Glaring at the apprentice he bared his fangs for a short second before speaking, "She got lucky! Besides are you saying Windstream was not a good fighter? That this kittypet was a better clan cat than her?" He could already feel his sister's narrowed eyes on his pelt but he ignored the feeling as his tabby stripes started to stand on end. Deep Blue eyes narrowed on Loudpaw's pelt though he bit back another remark.

Loudpaw lashed his tail angrily, his green eyes were alight with challenge. "Of course not! If you were facing two foxes alone don't you think you'd need help!" He hissed. Loudpaw was standing up, he tried his best to keep his claws sheathed.

Koitail stood up. "Stop it, both of you. For what its worth, why not let her join? If she doesn't work out, then we'll kick her out or something."
