She tucked the herb away into the store and got back to her paws, ears twitching. Pigeontail exited the den, stepping on front of the tabby tom, and made her way towards the camp entrance. She swished her long, thin tail and stretched as she walked, arching her back. It would give her some exercise too; she'd felt rather stiff being in the den all day. The medicine cat headed out of camp, her steps lively.

Pigeontail paused and glanced around for a moment, then moved forwards, her ears pricked. "This way, I think." she chirped, weaving to the left. Her memory wasn't perfect when it came to finding all the places where her herbs normally grew. It wasn't surprising, considering the amount. She flicked her tail and ambled along in a fine mood, making sure to let Brackenstorm keep up.

Heronleap trotted forwards, his steps high. He waved his tail and glanced around, then slowed back down and dropped his head. The tom paused, then sprang forwards. He landed over the vole, and he swiped his paws around to catch it. However, it was too agile for him, and he ended up falling over himself with a grunt. Shaking his head, he watched the vole dart away and with a huff got slowly to his paws. "Oops." he mumbled with a shrug.

The white tom shook out his short coat, scattering bits of leaves and dust. "Thanks," he rumbled, glancing at Swiftsong and twitching his ears. He tilted his head and then moved around an oak tree, sniffing. He reached out a paw and pinned a little green lizard to the root. He blinked at it, then looked back to his companion. "Do you like lizards?" he queried curiously. He himself thought they were a bit too stringy and rough for his liking. The lizard squirmed under his paw, but he held it still.

He blinked warmly at her. "Well, have it then. Since we're not on an actual hunting patrol we're free to eat, right?" he murmured, sitting down and keeping close to her, his eyes fixed upon her face.
