Introduction
Hi there, I'm Cobalt, but you can just call me Cole. Welcome to the new Makoatl Fanclub!
The old one was shut down for drama reasons, but I hope this one stays in tact until we need a new one 800 pages from now. So anyway I hope you have a wonderful time in the land of Makoatls and you find one you can love and cherish forever. For those of you who have Makos, welcome back to the community .
Please make sure to read over the rules below,
I know it seems like a lot but really it's mostly common sense so that we can have a good time and not have to shut down again on CS and move strictly to Deviant Art since I know a lot of you want some more free ones than just sales. The rules aren't too hard they just look big.

What are the Rules?
☆ You DO NOT need to own a Mako to post here ☆
---All you have to do to join is post something relevant! Even if it's just an intro about yourself---
☆ Do not beg for a free mako/complain about not owning one ☆
---Do not Steal someone elses Mako and post here---
☆ No Spam please ☆
---Anything not mako related shouldn't be here pretty much sums this rule up---
☆ Give everyone respect ☆
--This includes staff and each other--
☆ You may now request art and you may offer art ☆
--Please only ask every two or three pages though--
--You may request roleplays here; any replies should be sent via PM--
☆ You may talk about breeding and mates ☆
--Including but not limited to posting when your makos become mates--
☆ You may post art and questions for other members ☆
--Please credit all art when posting, if you don't know the artist just say--
--Please no questions that can potentially hurt others' feelings - ex "favorite artist"/"best owner"--
--Please don't quote images! If you do, snip the image. EX: [img]-snip-[/img]--
☆ Follow all CS Terms of Service ☆
☆ Please read the adoptable rules as well ☆
☆ All staff from the main thread are carried over to the fanclub so we don't need any more ☆
--This includes mini-modding [answering questions directed towards staff]--

What is a Makoatl?
A Makoatl is a terrestrial shark-dragon hybrid recently discovered
off the coast of the Greenland sea. They have the powerful tail
and jaws of a shark, with the body and (occasional) horns of a dragon.
They usually have manes, and are covered in thick coats of fur-
adapted to keeping out the cold in their native habitat.
They live on a diet of mainly meat and fish, and are known to be vicious
hunters! Despite this attitude toward their prey, however, they
are very protective and mothering to their offspring,
as well as to each other the majority of the time.
