He glanced behind him and saw they were still coming, so he kept running, smashing through the lab door and freezing, suddenly realizing where he was. He yelped and turned to run back but they were blocking the door. Scientists approached him, sedatives ready.

Ethan - 19 - Essie
He stuck his tongue out at her then limped over to the stream.

Essie did the same, grinning a little, and sat on a rock jutting out over the stream, dangling her feet in the water. She cupped her hands in the water and started washing the cut on her leg. She frowned when even more blood drizzled out.

Ethan - 19 - Essie
He found out the same and looked over at Essie, tilting his head and wondering what they should do now, for once not having an answer on how to lead the situation.

I squeaked and whimpered as one of the guards grabbed me. I squirmed and tried to get free but he kept a tight grip, his hold tight and painful. I whimpered soft as he dan after the others, not being very gentle as he had slung me over his shoulder like a carpet.

Essie worked on the cut on her stomach, getting a bit frustrated as the wounds kept opening.

Jesse - 18 - Scientists
A guard grabbed him from behind, out a cuff on his metal arm that made it basically useless, then held him there in an iron grip as a scientist/doctor came up and injected him with a sedative and something strong that made him pass out.

Ethan - 19 - Essie
He frowned and sat down in the water, it felt good, but was quickly turning red around him.

Essie worked on the cuts on her arms, then her face. The one on her face was especially annoying- dripping off her neck. when she finished she dried her face with the bottom of her shirt and when Ethan wasn't looking, she looked at the wound on her arm. There was a faint blue lining around it from the poison. She just hoped it wasn't noticeable.

He finally got the bleeding to go down and just lay in the shallow water on his back, watching the sky.

As the guards dispersed they brought me in and one of the scientists injected me with a sedative as well, putting me to sleep. The world spun at first before my limbs went numb and my eyes fell closed, darkness enveloping me.

The guards blocked the entrance, trapping him and watched as the scientists approached, injecting the boy with the sedatives. One of them smiled, the prospect of improvement and experiment much greater than anything else. Nothing else mattered. " we have him Michael." One said.

Essie did her best to hold still, feeling really dizzy and her vision blurring drastically. Her stomach was clenched up and her chest hurt. Her breaths were heavy, a bit delayed.
