Giving a yowl of surprise, Rainflower gave a whuff of breath as the dog flung her away to go after Goldenfur. She attempted to rise to her feet, only to discover her back leg had become sprained after hitting the ground. Foxdung! she cursed, trying to stand again with little success.

Does that seem a plausible injury?
