Foxkit tilted her head, then touched her nose to Whiskers. "I suppose, but its not really easy no mater how you look at it, that's life, right?" She smiled even if Whiskers looked otherwise.

Foxkit sat down, looking at Whiskers. It will be tough for her here... it's tough for everyone here. My mama was right, the snow does make our hearts cold. But, is mine destined to be as cold?

I walked up to the Kittypet and I said "You have no idea what it's like to grow up without any parents. No matter what pain you feel, you still have the knowledge of who your mother was, who your siblings were, and maybe even when they died. I don't know any of that. They could be dead for all I know." I walked up to Foxkit and I sat down beside of her.

"Don't get me wrong its much better than eating trash and running for your life as you get chased by humans and such", I gave a sigh as I spoke again,"I was a rescue I had no family, all I had was my human which died in front of me , she was like a mother to me....", I spoke quietly as I stared off into the sky
