Oh, no, sorry. I'm not breeding bettas, he's by himself. That's just what male betta fish do as part of their instincts even without females. It's still pretty cool, though!

Guys I have decided I want to breed guppies! I've been researching about them lately, and I want to know about tank requirements. I read about male:female ratio, so I'm thinking 1 male and 2 females? How many tanks would I need to start off, and what sizes?
Breeding guppies is great fun, and can be very rewarding! A breeding trio is the best way to go, so you're right about that! Guppies are very, very easy to breed, the only hard part being that you'll need to remove the adults from the breeding tank in time so that they don't eat their babies.
I would go with three 10 gallon tanks- 1 breeding tank (where you'll have the females with the male to breed and give birth and where the fry will live until they're older), a male tank (for daddy fish and all male babies), and a female tank (for the momma fishies and all female babies).
I would get a nice breeding trio from a breeder, or get each guppy individually from different breeders. Take a look at what colors and patterns you like. My personal favorites are blue moscow and yellow snakeskin. Try to get large females and a smaller male, that way the females will have an easy time giving birth and there's less risk of the male hurting them by accident. Then, since you'll probably be separating the male from the females at some point so that you don't get over whelmed, you may also consider getting two other males to keep your breeder company.
I may just be rambling right now as I've been pretty sick and my brain is a little out there...
I suck at guppies, cant keep the darn things alive BUT I can get wild caught sailfin mollies to breed(I just had 12 babies born, and they are NOT related to my male, which means MOAR babies).

Well, I got most of my snail problem under control! I only found 3 snails in my tank this week, compared to the 50 I got out a couple weeks ago. But recently, I had to go to a wedding out of state which required me to be gone for 3 days, and when I came back 3 out of 4 of my guppies died! Oh noooo! I tested the water and everything came back fine, no ammonia levels in the tank. What do you guys this caused this?

well, off to the fish store to get more guppies so my one male guppy won't be all alone with my danios and swordtail.

How many fish and what types are they? : Not fish, he is a wild caught Spade Foot Toad
How long has it been running? : I have had Bobby for about a week now.
Did you cycle it? : Semi aquatic, didn't think I needed to as there are no fish
If possible what are the ammonia nitrite and nitrate levels? : I can get them if needed, don't think they are, though.
What is the issue or question? :
About a week ago, I let my dogs outside to play with me. Before my larger dog had even gotten out of the gate, my smaller Shiba Inu had picked up a toad, shaking it. I got him away from her, and took him inside to my small terrarium I set up for some caterpillars. I put him in, and after he got through the shock, all three of my caterpillars and my earthworm disappeared. Seriously, the caterpillars were as long as him at the least, I didn't think he would be able to eat them. Anyway, the toad, Bobby, can't move his back legs. I think my dog bit down on his spine, paralyzing his back legs. (Doesn't that sound familiar, Supernatural fans?) I was wondering what I can do for him, and some tips on care? I don't think he will ever be able to be let go with how he is right now. Thank you in advance!
Today as I was checking on Bobby, I noticed he has some blood coming out of his behind area? What could this be?
Any sort of blood coming out of areas blood really shouldn't be coming out of in any animal is related to trauma.
Since you said you think your dog bit down on him and damaged his back, your dog probably also damaged something else that is making him bleed.
Alright. He isn't doing well today at all.
Everyday, it's getting closer...

Is he in a tank with any other animals? What sort of ornaments are in the tank? Where is he hurt, is there blood or is it just a small scrape?
Sometimes bettas can scrape themselves on ornaments. I've had this happen before but it always heals up quite quickly so long as the filter is cleaned regularly.
There are also some illnesses that can cause lesions or other breaks in the scales and flesh.

I'm slightly bothered by the fact that if you really loved fish, you wouldn't keep a fish in small bowl. But that's just me XD What were you thinking?
