Nightpaw nodded. "They are comfy. Well, its off to bed." Nightpaw curled up in his nest and fell to sleep.

The early morning light woke Nightpaw up. He opened his blue eyes- only to squeeze them shut with a soft grunt. Nightpaw sat up, licking his ruffled fur.

Rose was lying soundly in her nest, her amber eyes were closed.

Nightpaw smiled. Rose seemed like she was sleeping good. He padded to the back of the den, and shuffled around before returned. He chewed them up. "Rose." Nightpaw whispered.

Rose opened one of her eyes, "Oh..hey Nightpaw.." She yawned and sat up.

"I need you to help me clean out the old herbs on your cuts." Nightpaw meowed as he pulled off the dressing. He began to clean the not-so-easily reached scratches on Rose's back. Nightpaw tried to be gentle- but his tongue was very rough for a normal cat.

Briarstar woke early the next morning like usual, slowly getting up she arched her back in a long stretch before padding quickly out of her den and into the clearing. Squinting her eyes a bit as the morning rays introduced themselves to her fastly ajusting eyes; she let out a sigh as the clan was peaceful once again. Though her good attitude dissapeared when she saw Windstream's body and all the memories from the previous night came flooding back to her mind.


Hawkwing woke surprisingly early, he usually slept late as he wasn't usually put on the dawn patrol and therefore had no reason to be up; however, this morning he just couldn't sleep so he crept out of the warriors' den hoping not to wake anymore of the sleeping cats. Pads bouncing off the warming ground as he walked on the green grass towards Briarstar, he was sure that sense there were no elder that he'd be asked to help bury Windstream.


Honeypaw woke later than she had wanted as today she was going to ask Smokestar to take her out training. They hadn't gone out in a few days though that wasn't his fault, he was leader after all and only had an apprentice because there weren't enough warrior for all of Lionclan's apprentices. Blue eyes shinning in the morning sun's rays she glanced about the camp seeing who was up and what they were doing.

Smokestar slid out of his den. He had been thinking awhile in his den before the chatter of the clan brought him out. He was glad to see Honeypaw was out. He'd take her out to train. "Honeypaw!" Smokestar called, bounding over. "Have you eaten yet?"

Wincing a bit Rose cleaned the cut on her shoulder, she licked the old poultice out to be replaced.
