Koitail chose a mouse and sat down outside the warriors den.she noticed Hawkwing eating a rabbit. "You're eating a whole rabbit?" She asked, knowing that she'd never be able to.

Rose sighs preparing to explain. "The other day I was on the beach, I had no idea I was in this clan's territory until the patrol came. Earlier today I was at the river about to leave the territory when I heard the yowls. I found a shecat, Windstream, being attacked by three or so foxes. You know the rest.."

Hawkwing looked up from his meal to find Koitail carrying a mouse, "It's the rest of Briarstar's meal from tonight." He explained to her as he took another bite from his late night meal.


Briarstar nodded taking in the information, "Okay very well. I suppose you will be wanting to leave then so a patrol will escort to the edge of the territory at dawn. Until then I'm sure Nightpaw and Redstorm would be happy to make you a nest for the night in the medicine cat den."

"Oh- Okay." Rose didn't want to say it but she felt like she should stay. She stood up getting ready to leave the den with Nightpaw.

Koitail nodded. "Oh. Sorry, I couldn't imagine any cat eating a full rabbit themself!" She took a bite of her mouse.

Nightpaw nodded. "I've got a spare one near mine and Redstorm's in the back. We've always got extra nests."

Briarstar felt like Rose was holding back, "Was there something else you needed Rose?" She asked


Hawkwing nodded not showing much emtions, "Yeah, they would have to be very hungry." He pointed out not looking up from the prey.

"Or really, really fat. Like bigger then a kittypet who gets 5 meals a day of those rabbit-dropping pellet things." Koitail meowed, crinkling her nose.

Whisperleaf watched the ceremony start and end. She congratulated Brackenheart, before making her way towards the edge if the clearing. He sat down, briefly grooming herself before watching her claates talling.

Embershade bounded over to Brackenheart, followed by ho's brother. With a light bounce to ho's step he meowed, "Congratulations Brackenheart!" He let out a purr before bounding away to mingle.

Ashblaze followed his brother to the new deputy. He dipped his head, smiling, "Congrats!" He dropped his tone softer, "Leys not put me on any dawb patrols though" Cguckling, he followed his brother into the crowd.

Fawnpaw walked over to the medicine cat den. She say down beside her brother, and they both just talked about the happenings in Lionclan. Fawnpaw rested her head on his shoulder, sighing softly. (Wb)

Sheepbelly conversed with his sister in his den. He licked her head calmly, letting out a soft purr, before getting up. "Work." He simply stated, returning to the job of organizing herbs. He looked over ho's shoulder at Fawnpaw, smiling.

Briarstar felt like Rose was holding back, "Was there something else you needed Rose?" She asked


Hawkwing nodded not showing much emtions, "Yeah, they would have to be very hungry." He pointed out not looking up from the prey.

Rose felt like this would be a good time to be honest. "Yes, I'm curious to learn your ways and maybe...become apart of the clan. I can prove myself, I promise."
