Desertsong tasted the air, the scent of a badger wafted by. Her fur bristled, "Badger!" She hissed, lashing her tail.

Darkclaw heard and raced over,''Badger?!" she asked yelling. She came to Desertsong to scent the badger as well.

The badger bursted out of the bracken, its razor black claws glinting in the sunlight. The beady black eyes focused on her as it charged forward. "Help!" She yowled as she was barreled over. Suddenly another two badgers emerged, one towards Twigfur and Shadecloud the other towards Darkclaw.

Darkclaw growled, the badger swiped at her. She dipped into its shadow and came out again behind it. She raked her claws down its furry butt to its head. She growled as another blow came, this time it got her front paw. She let out a yowl of pain.

Desertsong took a deep breath as dust began to strike the sides of the badger. The badger backed off of her but not before taking a good nip at her legs. Biting back the pain she hobbled up. The shecat struck the badger's muzzle trying to draw it back.

Silverheart laid down her tail lashed side to side as she gave a gentle smile locking her eyes on the Emberkit.

FoxClaw heard his sister wheeping "SeaFang what happened" he asked with concern filling hid voice

SeaFang pushed him away "Go away" she lay down curled up with her face covered only her eyes visble

Shadow grinned widely and watched waiting for FoxClaw to leave she attacked SeaFang and clawed at her eyes

Mudstripe perked his ears at the sound of Desertsong's yowl, and found himself racing at his top speed out of camp. Easily, he barreled into the badger that ad attacked her, and latched onto it's ears with full force, His claws extended over it's eyes as he fought to blind the creature.

LionFlare perked his ears, not caring about his vigil anymore, and he raced after Mudstripe and barreled into one of the badgers, no fear in his amber eyes as he gripped one of it's paws in his jaws.
