"Alright!", Wildpaw ran up to Hawklegs and keeping pace as he led the way.

(OK! Oh, I just forgot I was supposed to finish Snowstar's announcement XD)

"Some of you may not know, but a kittypet named Moon has come to WinterClan. She wishes to raise her kits here, and I have made my decision to let her stay. " Snowstar told his Clan.

Snowstar

"Since she will be living here I will give her a warrior name." He turned his gaze from the Clan to Moon. "Moon, from now on, you will be known as Moonfur."

Hawklegs:
Snowstar had an announcement just beforehand, so i stopped in my tracks and listened while Moon became Moonfur. I shook my head in resentment, and I saw Deadkit narrowing his eyes at the 'warrior'.
After the announcement, instead of cheering for Moonfur, I led the way out of the camp, and I beckoned for Wildpaw to follow me. I went for the snowy meadows to look for prey, and I could see that Wildpaw had trouble keeping up. I said "Once you get older, and bigger, you won't have to run to keep up."

She wasn't too crazy about Moonfur joining the Clan. What in the name of StarClan was Snowstar thinking? He had to be crazy! Like a few other cats, she didn't cheer for the new Clan member.

Snowstar

He noticed that most of the cats seemed disappointed that he had not chased Moonfur away from the Clan instead of making her a warrior. Well, it was already done and he couldn't do anything about it now. He jumped down from the Snow Tree, signaling that the meeting was over.

"Yeah one day I will grow up big and then you will be the one stumbling after me." I teased. After a while I got serious and asked,"Um Hawklegs? What if Moon only joined for clan benefits like shelter and food.."I began to mumble.

Deadkit:
I had an idea. Snowstar said that she had kits, or will have kits. I would make their lives miserable from birth because they don't belong here. They deserve to be in a twoleg's house. My parents were rogues. They were at least fierce and fighting. I may be 4 moons old, but I know that they were smart enough to abandon me. Many people think that I would be sad because I was abandoned. I am thankful. It gives me the opportunity to do whatever I want, with no authority. I have no parents, so I am not used to sleeping near a she-cat's bely whenever I want. I am used to the arctic cold, so nothing will change when I enter the apprentice's den, which is in two moons... I went into my thoughts deeply when I pondered who would be my mentor...

Hawklegs:
I replied "If she doesn't hunt or fight, then I will report her myself to Snowstar. That is all a Kittypet is, you know. A mooch. Sapping our resources, food, and all of our space. Then, soon, she will have at least 1 more kit exactly like her, so that takes up more room and space. They will all be defects, since they are Kittypets... So nothing good can come out of this, Wildpaw.

I nodded in agreement and started to focus on my pace.

Hawklegs:
I stopped midstride, and I waved my tail for Wildpaw to stop too. In front of us, only a few tail-lengths, was a large snowy owl. I beckoned for Wildpaw to kill it.

Wildpaw

My mentor signaled for me to bring down the snowy owl. 'This is my chance' I thought to myself as I instantly dropped into a hunters crouch balancing myself carefully as I took long strides toward the snowy owl. I closed in on the owl and leaped in the air claws stretched out forward to pierce it's body. I landed square on the snowy owl's back. I turned to bite the neck, but I realized I mistimed it and bit it's wing instead. The snowy owl gazed at me and screeched. I stood there shocked but quickly regained conscious and bit into the messy feathered neck. I gasped breathing heavily as I proudly held the bird in my teeth trotting back slowly to my mentor gently placing it down with eager eyes.
