Max looked around finding a larger and somewhat thick stick. She reached over to grab it and got to her feet. She started waking to the barn, using the stick to prop her up and wincing in pain at every step. Max finally made it to the barn. Cor Ignis saw her walk in and neighed. Max smiled and limped over to him. "Hey boy." She scratched under his chin and he nickered. Ninny stuck her head out of the stall. Max turned around and stroked her as well.

I pulled myself onto Reyna's saddle, gripping the reins. I took a deep breath and clicked my heels, getting Reyna into a trot. "good girl, good girl," I said, before pushing her into a canter.

[Swiftie.]

Blaze heard someone in the barn, twisting his body to his stall door, eyeing the hallway. He let out a snort, then whinnied loudly. He stomped his hoof, walking around. He didn't like the mare next to his stall. Fantasy ignored him, twisting around for her butt towards him, eating hay. Blaze whinnied once again, trying to get someone's attention. Cameron ignored his horse, watching Alex. He smiled, looking back once, then back at the two.

I eventually caught up to a gallop, making sharp turns and such, keeping focus on my breathing and on the control I had on Reyna.

Max turned around to see Blaze dreaming out in his stall. She walked over to him, cautious with each step. When she got to him, she reached out to pet him, hushing him to try and calm him down. "Easy boy. Easy." she cooed.

[Swiftie.]

Blaze tossed his head up and down, calming himself as he reached his nose for her hand. He licked at her hand, shaking his head. He perked his ears, calmer. Cameron sat on the fence, wondering what was wrong with Blaze. He turned towards the barn, curiously looking.

I quickly stopped. "Something wrong?" I asked, trotting over to Cameron.

What? Oh no, he's just throwing a fit. He'll be okay. Cameron looked towards the barn, then back to Alex. Mind if he comes out and watches with us, it might make him feel a bit better? He wasn't embarrassed at how Blaze was acting, it was normal. Stalls are just not his thing.

I smiled. "Yeah that's fine." I patted Reyna's neck. "Reyna could enjoy the more company."

Cameron jumped down, leaving the two for a few minutes. He walked to the barn grabbing the rope halter and his lead rope. Not noticing, he heard someone. He stopped, standing inside the tack room, so nobody could see him. Blaze whinnied, knowing he was there.
