About he Zodiacs..

What if your born on a cusp?

In astrology, a cusp (from the Latin for spear or point) is the imaginary line that separates a pair of consecutive signs in the zodiac or houses in the horoscope.

Because the solar disc has a diameter of approximately half a degree, it is possible for the Sun to straddle the cusp as it moves across the sky. When this occurs at the moment of birth such a person is said to be "born on the cusp" and some believe that their life is influenced by the characteristics of both signs. For example, if an individual was born when the Sun (by convention the point at the centre of the Solar disc) was located at 29 degrees, 50 minutes Gemini, then one might say that he was born on the cusp of Gemini and Cancer. Much of the Solar disc was actually in Cancer even though the centre was in Gemini.

Could there be a stamp for that..?

@Salmon Wish

Woah, woah, woah. Hang on there. That comment went way overboard, and I didn't catch the meaning. Can you please give a clearer explanation?

I was born on a cusp as well and I just use both sign stamps. You can also pick the one you relate to the most.

I could try.

The zodiac is neatly divided into 12 equal horoscope signs, each with its clearly defined characteristics. But meanings can get messy near the borders that separate the signs. These are known as cusps, those transition zones where a planet is moving from one horoscope sign to the next.

If, for example, you were born on March 18, the Sun was in Pisces, giving you the sensitive qualities of this Water sign. But with independent Aries just days away, that Piscean sweetness may be colored with some of the assertiveness of the following sign. You're definitely a Pisces. The boundaries are clearly defined, so you don't get two astrological passports, one for each sign. But like someone living near the border of another country, it's likely that you'll have familiarity with both languages and cultures.

he two-sign influence of a cusp is stronger when a planet is at the end of a sign than at the beginning. If you have Mars, the action planet, in the last degree of solid and steady Taurus, you'll probably feel the itchy feet of Gemini coming your way. But once Mars enters the sign of the Twins (or any other sign, for that matter) the past can be quickly forgotten. So even though a planet is technically on the cusp in the last three or first three degrees of a sign, the feeling of it having a double identity is much greater finishing one sign than starting another.

The importance of having any planet on the cusp of a sign also depends on the rest of your chart. If you're a 29-degree Cancer Sun and have two planets in Leo, the next sign, the proud Lion will roar more loudly in your life. Even if you don't have anything else in Leo, planets in other Fire signs (Leo's cousins Aries and Sagittarius) or a Fire sign Ascendant, you'll be more outgoing than the average Crab.

It's hard to explain.

If people have freedom of expression over
their sexuality and religion in their signature,
what difference does it make in terms of
stamps?

yes, this is a good point. people put all sorts of stuff in their signatures about who they are, i'm not really sure why it'd be any different in stamp form.

The difference is that in a signature, you can write what you want, but stamps have to be premade for you to to choose them. If Chicken Smoothie decided to include religion-identifying stamps, the would have to include every single possible religion, or else they'd face users claiming discrimination since theirs was not included.

To my knowledge, there are over 120 recognized religions. It would be cool to have a stamp available for each one, but the work required would be tremendous, and it may simply result in more harm than good. Unfortunately, this applies to other things as well, such as sexualities and gender-identifications; instead they added stamps for preferred gender pronouns (he, she, they, etc.), which avoids that issue.

(I wonder if Nick still took me off of the moderation queue list anyway)

But there are almost 200 countries in the world aren't there?
Idk, I don't really mind if we never get sexuality or religious stamps and I'm not going to argue for them, but I don't see why it would be too big of a deal. Although I guess making all those stamps could be tedious in addition to the stamps we already have.

Religion stamps should never be a thing.
All they do is cause drama, just like theyre doing now.
You can be proud of your religion but you dont really need to advertise it all over the place.

this website is for fun and pets, not faith.

•I have a small complaint about the languages or more of a nit pick. Maybe instead of putting I speak English only put Spanish as well.
Mostly pointing out the Puerto Rican flag.
Due to the fact more people speak spanish from there, though I understand because it is a Territory. Maybe Spanglish for the jest of it.
Yet it still picks at me whenever I have it on due to the fact I put on two flags which say english.
Well, whichever, that is my slight input.

If we get more quotes, can we have more fun ones like "I reject your reality and substitute my own"? Not so many of those uppity optimistic ones? (They kinda annoy me.)
Oh what if we did ones like "WHAT DOES THE FOX SAY"
Yes
I just made myself want a stamp.

EDIT: Also can it be under the My Stuff tab? Or under the account page?
