Swiftsong smiled; leaning forward. She licked his forehead.

She got up Arching her back with irrational hate, as she headed towards a sunny spot cleaning her fur, trying not to screech and kill someone she curled down her whiskers still crusty from her light tears, yawning.

Pigeontail reached out a paw and drew out the juniper berries. "You mean these?" she meowed, glancing from him to the purplish little berries. She rocked back on her haunches and swept her tail back around her hind paws, the end flicking a little.

Heronleap merely blinked for a moment, a little surprised--but in a good way. He let out a soft purring rumble, and grinned at her. "You gonna finish the mouse, dear?" he rumbled, gently flicking his tail around to touch her hind paw and back away again. He ever so slightly scooted around the mouse so he was sitting next to her rather than across from her.

"I guess." Swiftsong replied, eating the rest of the mouse.

Skypath lounged in the camp, glimpsing excitedly at the full moon. Soon it would be moonhigh - she would go on patrol! It was one of her first patrols in a while, since she had been a foster queen some moons ago, so this was a night to remember.

"Yeah. They were on a bush next to the red berries." He said giving them a good sniff. Then it hit him. "Oh I know where I smelled them! I can show you too!" He said jumping up and down excitedly.

The medicine cat tilted her head, her gaze wide as the kit grew more excited. Red berries? Hmm... "Whoah, slow down!" she purred. She twitched an ear, thinking. "Kits aren't supposed to leave camp, now." she added thoughtfully. Pigeontail leaned down towards Shadowkit, and whisked her tail. "Do you know exactly where they are? How close are they to camp?"

He purred quietly, then lay down and stretched out his forepaws. A contented sigh escaped him, and he cast his gaze around camp, feeling full and in a good mood once more. Heronleap glanced up at Swiftsong and cautiously let his tail wrap around her. He hoped she wouldn't mind.

"They are where I was found so pretty close." He said smiling up brightly at her. "In the shadow of the trees by the um...." He tried to remember where he was found. He was sure it was close to a ledge and a giant tree. "Where the water splashes over the rocks." He meant at the bottom of the falls but that is what he calls that place. "Then they are right there." He said happily.
