Following Brackenstorm, Skypath caught sight of a plump mouse nibbling on a raspberry. Grinning, she lowered her frame, unsheathing her thorn - sharp claws. Silently, she stepped forward, still pressed against the lush forest floor, until taking a few hasty pawsteps and then pouncing, bringing her paws down with force. Tucking the rodent within her jowls, she glanced up at Brackenstorm, muffling between her catch, "Your turn!"

Pigeontail blinked in slight surprise as the kit pressed into her pelt. She reached out a paw and wrapped it around him, gently stroking. "It's alright, little one." she crooned, lifting her head and gazing properly down at him. She smiled slightly. "You're not alone." she murmured, lowering her paw and sitting still, allowing him to take comfort. Was this what it was like to be a mother? She dared not think too much on it.
