Swiftsong padded away, having scented a mouse. She stalked it, and leaped, landing on its back. She snapped it, ending its life. She covered it and padded back to the others. She looked crestfallen.

Foxpaw chuckled a bit. "Of course." She mewed. "I think it'll be fun, too!"

Firepaw nodded. "Snowstar doesn't want any strangers in our territory." She murmured thoughtfully. "I'll go back to camp and tell him. If you want to come with me, go right ahead." She looked up at Embertail for a moment before turning and padding back towards camp

Heavymist stepped further out on the branch. He was almost across! He breathed a sigh of relief as his front paw touched down on the other side, before his hind leg gave out, and he fell into the water, landing hard. He yelped. Now he was sure he needed help. He pulled himself out of the water, shook some off, then continued towards the scent of other cats.

Heronleap lifted his head and then nudged the bird away to bury it. Glancing back, he noticed Swiftsong wasn't in sight. However, she reappeared a moment later, looking rather distressed. The white tom scooted over to her, his tail lowered. "Seriously, there's got to be something wrong." he murmured, blinking dolefully at her. "Are you okay?" he repeated, trying to emphasis his sympathy.

Wasppaw flicked his tail in happiness. "Good!" he purred, bobbing his head. Turning to face ahead he pricked his ears. "We're almost there." he meowed, peering around Snowstar and Creeksight and kneading his paws into the ground briefly with excitement.

Swiftsong ran after her. "No, you can stay with Heronleap. I'm going back to camp." She mewed, grabbing her prey and darted to camp.

The tom frowned slightly, and stepped closer to her. He opened his jaws, then relaxed and dipped his head. As Blisteringwind spoke up, he jerked around, ears pricking. What in StarClan? Heronleap wrinkled his nose and glanced back to Swiftsong, but then she spoke up and darted off. "She-cats!" he exclaimed, shaking his head. Glancing towards the remaining warrior, he murmured, "Maybe we should just go back--we've got enough prey."
