[Pika Girl]

(Back from the dead )
A few days had passed and Flamepool was sleeping soundly in her nest. Flashes of her old memories danced across her mind as she dreamt; Meeting Carnival, the kiss, nights spent together laughing and staring at the stars, and the fight with the fox. Flamepool awoke with a start. She remembered everything! "Carnival!" she yowled. "Carnival where are you?!"

Carnival was hiding in a bush around shadowclan territory. He only strolled in the camp to see how Flamepool was doing but nothing more. He felt alone amongst the clan cats. His den was a bush near the clearing were the fox fight took place. "Maybe its a lost cause. I should just go back..." Carnival couldn't say home. He didn't have one. Flamepool was his old safe haven. 'well that's gone now.' he thought.

Flamepool ran over to the leader's den. "Blackstar! Blackstar, do you know where Carnival went?" Blackstar lifted his head up from his nest. "You awoke me from a wonderful nap Flamepool, what seems to be the matter? Flamepool bowed her head respectively and said, "Sorry, it's just that my memory is back and I wanted to know where Carnival was." Blackstar stretched and yawned before saying, "He said something about making a den in an old fox hole by the lake." Flamepool thanked Blackstar and ran off towards the place of the accident.

Carnival heard the sound of pawsteps coming in his direction. His fur bristled and he shrunk back in his den. Eyes darting back and forth. He was always sensitive to movements in the dark. Its just triggers fear. He stayed as silent as he could until he knew who was out there.

The pawsteps slowed as Flamepool ran panting into the clearing. This was the spot, she was sure of it. She heard some rustling behind a bush and padded closer to it. "Carnival?" she mewed.

Eyes gazed over the orange she-cat. Carnival was still bristling. He was about to say her name but refrained. What did she want with him? He looked for a way to escape incase he needed to. Carnival still remained silent.

Flamepool sat down in front of the bush and repeated, "Carnival i-is that you? It's me, Flamepool." After a few moments of silence, she looked down at the ground sadly and mewed to herself, "I guess he's gone." She started to pad away with her ears and tail drooped in disappointment.

Carnival saw Flamepool leave. He quickly leaped out of the bushes to stop her. "Flamepool." He mewed sharply. "What happened that day when we were collecting moss?" This was a test. Carnival never shared this with Flamepool while she had amnesia. He wanted to see if she remembered.

Flamepool paused and turned around. "W-well..." Thankfully her blushing couldn't be seen through her fur. "We uh... k-kissed. Wh-why are you asking this?" she stammered.

Carnival's heart beated faster when she anwered. 'She remembered?! Oh Flamepool...' He started shaking. He ran over to the she cat and leaped onto her. "Flamepool," he purred. "Your memory returned."
