Pyrrhia has lived in peace for many years. Each kingdom had 1 queen that ruled 1 species, including the Sandwings. Everything was fine, until one day.
2 queens, the Sandwing queen and the Nightwing queen, got into an argument of which time was better: dawn or dark. The queens declared battle, so war raged across the land. Half of Pyrrhia fought for dawn, and the other half fought for dark over a pointless argument.
Meanwhile, the full-grown Dragonets of Destiny were living together in peace. They heard about the war, and have decided to stop it.
