Rainflower

Letting the boulders fall back into place, Rainflower tasted the air for the scent of another cat. Stale scents of almost every cat in her Clan were present, along with the sharp scent of fear, but one stood out as a fresh cat scent - Flamepaw!
Looking around the ruined camp for the second time, she tasted the air again, hoping that Flamepaw's scent would be enough to guide her to the young cat. "Flamepaw," she called, wheezing slightly as dust filled her lungs. "Where are you?"

"Here!" She called, Flamepaw tried to release her tail from the collapsed rocky cave, but failed.

[gallifrey falls.]

Rainflower

Racing over to the trapped she-cat, Rainflower bent to sniff the rock, wondering if she would be able to shift it by herself. Leaning on it slightly, she gasped, trying to gain the strength to move the obstruction. "How much of your tail is trapped?"

"At least half," Flamepaw whimpered, batting at the rock, though it was as big as four cats combined.

[gallifrey falls.]

Rainflower

Straightening up again, Rainflower circled around the boulder, once more searching for a way to lift the large object. "I'm not sure I can do this by myself Flamepaw. Will you be alright if I go and get help?"

She nodded as the ground began to rumble again, and the rocks began to shuffle in the cave, collapsing one-by-one. "Hurry!" Flamepaw wailed.

Rainflower

Turning and trotting away, Rainflower searched for another cat, or cats. Entering the tunnels, she called, "Hello? Is any cat there? Flamepaw is caught under a rock fall, and I can't move them by myself." Peering around herself in the gloom, Rainflower tasted the air, searching for nearby Clanmates.

Amurwing, father of Flamepaw, raced to Rainflower. "Let's go." He meowed frantically.

[gallifrey falls.]

Rainflower

Giving Amurwing a grateful nod, Rainflower led him back to where Flamepaw was trapped. "About half her tail is caught under the rock, and it's too heavy to shift on my own. Are you able to push from this spot? I'll push over here and see if we can life it enough for her to remove her tail."

Dashing to the secret entrance, she suddenly stopped. She saw half a tail swaying from the rock. He dashed over, and clawed at the rock. She scented the storms were very close, and had no time to worry about this. Suddenly, RadiumStar breathed heavy, allowing her Bloodclan senses to return. She knew the rock would never budge in time. And there was no fast way. Listing her claws with a emotionless expression, she slid her claws through Flamepaw's tail. She felt it unconnected, and she darted to the entrance , knowing losing a tail was never fatal, yet getting trapped under a rock forbid long could damage more than the tail. He slipped in the secret entrance, and darted to Flamepaw, blood still splattered on her paws.

"There was no other non fatal way."she meowed.
Suddenly she froze. She heard water rush from above the rocks. The flood arrived, and it was a nitrile she made it in the tunnels on time. Shaking her head, she felt chaotic already. She slipped past Quail paw, Brackenwing, and Rainflower, blood splattered on her paws, not saying a word. Hearing the water above her head made her think about how if Flamepaw's tail was under the rock still, and how painful it would've with the Twoleg rummage and with the water suffocating it. Silently, she left most the clan, feeling silent and acted emotion less, even though in we heart she felt crushed.
