Jakura looked over at Gala as she spoke. He sighed as he blinked several times '' yea, maybe your right Gala... Things i guess have just mounted up and its hitting breaking point '' he admitted to the stress which running a pride brought with it. The fluffy maned brute looked at Ophelia when she mentioned she wished she could help '' maybe in time, little one but not now... Your still a little to young '' he smiled as he finished his sentence.

I nod, " Maybe... " I say, trailing off once more. Fortunately, I managed to catch myself, and bring back my attention, " By the way, Jakura, have you seen Eve around. I've been meaning to talk to her, she hasn't been herself lately. " I say worriedly. When I went out early, I followed her scent and it went across the border. My muscle tense up, hoping nothing has happened to her.

I pout slightly as I look at his paw, " I know... " But I could at least start learning. I think as the lioness, Gala, started to speak again, this time about a different lioness, Eve, I think. She was obviously nervous, even I could see it.

Jakura looked down at Ophelia '' in time you can help, we'll wait until you decide what trade you would like to learn '' he said softly. His ears pricked up at the mention of Eve's name '' i think she has abandoned our pride, i to caught her scent at the border when i was out on a patrol... The scent i found wasnt that strong meaning she had been there for some time before i noticed '' he told her.

My gentle gaze suddenly turned into a shocked glare, " W-what? " I ask in shock, staring at the alpha in disbelief. My reaction to his response was so great that I actually began to feel light-headed. I began to sway back and forth slightly as I collapse into a sitting position, staring at the ground.

My claws rake at the ground as my tail flicks in annoyance. I stare at the ground as I sat up, and without a word, stand up and walk away. I stumble into my den and lay down towards the back of it. I decide that I was to stay here for a while, and try to think over the past year or so to try to come up with a reason for Eve to leave.

I study Sheera's herb collection, the dried ones and fresh ones, trying to memorize the more common and effective ones. I lean forward slightly and sniff one of them, it having a minty scent. I smile and I straighten up and carry on.

Equinox

Being a healer was relaxing. Surprisingly, not much fightng occurred. So usually Equinox was found lounging breath a large shady tree, wandering through the territory, or speaking with other pride members. The lion was slightly drowsy today, so he was tranquilly lying beneath a tree. Equinox's body lay on his right side, but he propped himself up with his arm. The male gazed out at the open plains, observing a herd of zebras as they passed.

As I watch Gala walk away, I hear Jakura's sigh and statement. I look up at Jakura and smile back, " Well... " I say. looking over at his wounds. The minty scent catches my attention for a moment and I smile, breathing in its sweet smell. I draw my attention back to Jakura and smile once more, " I want to be a healer. " I say cheerfully.
