71. The True You
She was transparent, flaws out for all to see. You couldn't see the real him. He cursed himself for being so secretive. She loved how he was shrouded in mystery.
72. Pretense
He always used a pretense to hide his pain. She thought he was being silly, to think she couldn't see straight through him. It was ironic that she was the fragile, transparent one, but she was the only one who saw his true feelings.
73. Patience
She had patience that he would come around eventually. It had taken her a little while to break out of her cocoon too.
74. Midnight
At midnight you could see him, his green goggles reflecting the moonlight. He used this time to think about her. These stars could never compare to her brightness.
75. Shadows
The shadows under his eyes were invisible as his goggles blocked them from view. She could tell he was tired anyway.
76. Summer Haze
The summer haze was chokingly thick, but the two kids played amongst the trees giggling and smiling all the same.
77. Memories
She remembered when he was small. They were both small. At that time she had already been somewhat outgoing and played with him frequently, but he never seemed to like her much.
78. Change in the Weather
From rain to snow to sun, they were always together. A change in the weather only brought them closer.
79. Illogical
Sure, their love was illogical, but that didn't mean it wasn't valid.
80. Only Human
The two were most certainly not only human. The butterfly wings sprouting out of their backs seemed to prove otherwise.
