Samma scooted back, flattening her ears a little as Levi growled lowering her head and being careful to avoid eye contact. She hadn't meant to move closer to the kill, just closer to Malone; she should have been more careful. She perked up her ears when the beta said she would eat with the pack after earning it. She was determined to join the next wolf who went out to hunt, she wanted to be helpful, and she needed as much experience as she could get, being only a yearling. For now though she was content with waiting her turn. She hadn't expected the two to make that request for her, she was grateful; they obviously meant well, but she didn't want to annoy the other members of the pack by stepping above her place.

"When you find some prey worth catching just let me know and I'll be right at your side." Itachi teased back, giving one of his rare genuine smiles. He didn't mean it, Raven did a great job at keeping the pack fed in hard times. He was relieved to hear the loners had already fed, he didn't want to see them going hungry but it seemed tensions were running pretty high between them and the beta at the moment, and he didn't want to cause problems within the pack either. "Maybe if we pick up the deers trail again we could do a full pack hunt." He said, back to serious. It wasn't his place to call a hunt, but anyone could suggest it, and with the whole pack out in strength they might get in a few surpass kills. It would be good to bury meat in the snow again, and be happy in the knowledge a meal was waiting beneath the ice for when they needed it.

The silver wolf swallows, trying to hide terror and failing miserably; she says not a word. Soldier tilts his head to Raven and Levi as well as to Itatchi - a strong dislike to the prior pair of wolves and less so to the latter, Samma was another story. He had sworn to protect and be kind to the lesser, the weaker. "How can a wolf earn a place when other wolves will not help them, teach them, offer a chance?" is muttered. The huge, dark male flicks his ears like nothing is the matter, like nothing important had been said. Louder, "We will show you the place once you have eaten." this time, his words were meant to be heard.

"Sol, don't get angry. You can't fight, and kill the whole pack... it isn't done. Their ways are not our ways Soldier, take a breath." is whispered by Malone shyly.

Lykaios did not stop to eat once the bird was caught in his jaws, like a fly in the spider's intricate strands of web. He chewed on his meal- Or if he could even call it one, the bones crunching between his fangs. He never was one to eat bone, as it was usually too hard for him to do so, but birds were of a different matter. They were light, he had noticed, for them to fly so quickly through the air, to be so agile. He felt a sense of distaste for himself when he caught that bird, although he couldn't explain why he felt that way.
Maybe it was because he felt as though when he ate, he should eat one meal that should fill him to a considerable amount- Not just wasting a bunch of smaller animals for his own benefit. It wasn't like he had much of a choice as his stomach snarled with lack of food. His paws were already sore from walking upon the snow for the few hours he had already, and the noise of his jaws scraping bone and meat was bound to attract him some kind of attention- If it didn't, he'd be surprised at such a matter.

Nebbia listened to the pack as they discussed the matter in their own opinion, her ears turning in the direction of the speaker, keeping her eyes locked on the two loners. it wasn't a hard or threatening stare just one of curiosity. The loners seemed, like they had said earlier, that they wanted to join the pack. She turned her head over towards Samma when the loners said she could eat in their place, "Not until she can prove herself to become a higher rank... Till she finds her talent in the pack. It is a law that all pack members even future alpha's start from the lowest rank and prove themselves to be a higher one, same with you if you are accepted into the pack" she said" Her gaze was broken when she heard Itatchi's suggestion and nodded in agreement, "We can do the pack hunt as soon as everyone is ready" she said looking back at the two loners. "Until then, we should eat before it freezes over in this cold." she said.

Achak growled under his breath as he could still hear the dogs close by, not too close to him gladly or anywhere near the camp, but still close. Infact Achak was leading them farther and farther off and away from the pack, and soon the snow and wind would wash and blow away the trail to the pack for even the best of hunting dogs to track. He just hopes he himself doesn't get lost. Sure he knows this territory by hear but when the wind and snow blinds all of the senses it was easy to get lost.


Snow continued to clump onto her black fur leaving only her underbelly and a few small patches still visible. her paws now ached and bled leaving small amounts of blood in her paw prints. and despite her long black fur the snow clumping up on her made her shiver with cold. All she wanted was to find something to eat and a place to rest for a bit and keep warm.

"Your ways are not our ways Alphess of the Crimson Hollows." Soldier removes himself from sitting once more to stand in the dominant-yet-respectful stance of a loner who would be called 'Kurrel'; he swallows. "We would Stay Nebbia." he answers, " I would prove my worth in tracking... and a fight." the huge male seems to be looking at nothing, but the truth is he is sizing everyone up yet again. "And should I gain favor to stay I would train this submissive in the arts of MY pack, The Mera." the dark wolf flicks first one ear and then another, finnally both at the same time as he waits beside the tiny silver. "We already ate, and are full." those words are slightly.. proud, and there is a certain dark vilety about him that he cannot, or perhaps willnot hide.

The tiny silver, dwarfed by everyone shifts nerviously, "Sol don't do this." she begs in a whisper, "Dont agrivate them." he simply nudges her with one paw - never exposing his throat for a kill. "...I...I can hunt and.. and swim.. I know herbs for healing. I'm not a fighter, but.. in the Mera pack i was a double - healed and hunted as needed. Let us p-prove our s-selves." Malone forces herself to speak louder and it shows everything.

Nebbias ears lowered as she glared at the seemingly sightless male, sure he was much much bigger than she was "if you are to join the pack, both o you are to begin as Omega's, and IF you are to train Samma you will train her in the ways of THIS pack or not at all. I am not in the least bit intrested in what you or your old pack used to handle things, you are no longer part of that pack and if you join this one you are to follow ALL of the laws whether you like it or not. Do Iake myself clear?!" Se growled lowly at the large brute before her, her teeth bared.
