I nodded and walked further into the store, looking at all of the different quills and inks, picking a few out. I took a telescope from a nearby shelf and went to the back of the store where I had seen the phials and scales. I took a set of glass phials and picked up a set of scales. I took them to the front and pulled out the coins I needed to pay. "Are these the right ones?" I asked Elwin, showing him the Sickles and Knuts I was going to use.

Aria walked through Diagon Alley, buying school supplies. She even bought white owl with blue eyes. She looked around waiting until it was almost time to get on the train.

I stacked the new things on top of the growing pile in my cauldron. Once I was sure nothing would fall I checked the list of school supplies. "It looks like this is everything. All that's left to do is get our wands," I said, a hint of excitement creeping onto my face.

"Yeah. Apparently, this is the best part of the trip. To Ollivanders!" I replied, grinning. I led her towards the opposite end of Diagon Alley, and eyed the Magical Menagerie as we passed.
"You can get a pet too, if you want. Owls, cats, rats, toads, that sort of thing. If your interested..." I noted, looking at the assortment of animals in the storefront.

I looked in the windows of the shops. An owl would be cool, but I wasn't sure how my parents would react to me bringing one home. And my brother was allergic to cats. Rats and toads didn't appeal to me much either. I shook my head. "No, I don't need one now," I said. I looked at Ollivander's just ahead. "Come on lets go!"

Aria went to look at the brooms. She spent a lot of gold but she still had a bit left. She knew she only had enough for a very cheap broom, but her gaze was locked on a Firebolt. She was sure she didn't have enough gold on hand for it. "Why did I buy an Owl when I could have had a Cat." She sighed.
