Hawkwing heard a screech near the stream and took off at full sprint; only to find a fox attacking Spyrostripe. Without warning the tom threw himself into the fight clawing and scratching at the fox trying to attract it away from his clanmate. During the battle he was thrown from the fox's body, hitting the nearest tree hard. Laying limp on the ground he had what he now didn't want, the fox's attention.

She yowled ramming into the side of the fox gazing at HawkWings limp body as her eyes filled with terror them determinations as she slammed her claws on the foxes ribs as the male fox slashed her fheck leaping on its back raking its spine as it shook its pelt she flew off next to HawkWing but panded on all fours biting its tail as it finally fled. She darted next to HawkWing " HawkWing? HawkWing! " She murmed putting her ear to his chest to find him breathing. She sighed hoping he would wake up since she had no medicine cat backround history to help shaking water droplets on him hoping he would wake up.

Whisperleaf sat by the shore, gaze watching the shimmer of the waves. Taking a deep breath, she inhaled the unique scents of the lake, enjoying every bit of it. She closed her eyes, feeling the breeze before jolting to attention in hearing screeches. Instantly she was on her paws, skimming the ground towards the screams. She crouched low, seeing her clanmates and a fox. Watching the fox's gaze, she notices it looking towards Hawkwing, who was lying limp. Silently, she ran over, pelt bristling. "Spyrostripe" Her voice was soft as it trembled, "Do you think you can go get reinforcements?" She stepped over to Hawkwing, wrinkling her nose at the smell of blood. She grabbed Hawkwing by the scruff and dragged him over into the shelter of a bush, with some diffuculty.

" You go get some please, I know a few tricks that will help.. " Running to a tree leaping up onto it grabbing a few cobwebs stashing them in her mouth setting them down, then returning to claw up some burdock root, chewing it up smoothering it on his wounds, as she applied the cobwebs " Wait. Lets wait a minute to see if he wakes up, he has pride I don't think he would want his clan mates to see him this crippled. So don't get anyone. " She spoke soothingly to the She-cat as he awoke with his eyes dazed in confusion as she let out a big sigh.

She sighed as a large force slammed into her swiping its claws across her head barely missing her temples as she got flung into the same tree that HawkWing did as she looked up dazed feeling sleep overwhelm her as everything went black.

Hawkwing felt pressure on her shoulder wound, it was deep but he'd live; after all what's another scar? "Kylie?" He muttered almost inaudible as the she-cat called his name. Slowly blinking open his deep blue eyes he tried to get up, he could've sworn it was her voice he'd heard. The pain in his shoulder was unbarable, though he did his best to ignore it as he looked at his surroundings. Kylie wasn't there, of course she wasn't; greencough had taken her only a few moons ago.

Windstream flew out of camp and attack the fox. She landed on the foxes face and clawed its eyes. It was screeched in fury and flung her off. She quickly got up and jumped on it again.
