Ares' eyes wandered over his small herd. He snorted softly when Storm let out a whinny. He didn't trust most of the other stallions in the herd no matter who they were. His eyes watched the moon as it climbed the sky, casting a bright glow over the mountain field. His dark hooves struck the ground as he watched Felicity with a foal that he hadn't smelled earlier. Picking up a trot, Ares made his way over to the mare. "Who's this?" the LEad Stallion asked with a slight toss of his head nto the sleeping filly. He knew that the filly would be no harm mostlikly unless it's mother was still around looking for her baby. His ears kept watch while he talked to the mare, his nostrils flared once in awhile catching a wolf's scent carried by the wind.

Samual eyes could make out the outlines of the herd. With a snort, the lone horse moved away from the group he once called home. Personally, he thought they were crazy for trying to survive in this No Man's land. He picked up a canter as he moved more farther away from the strange, uncomfertable smells. But one still lingered. Slowing down into a trot, Samual rolled the scent around on his tounge. It smelled like a herd scent, so it partly tapped at his curiosity. Giving in with a snort, the black and white paint moved towards the smell only to see the shape of Kaihla. His ears perked forward as he tried to recall the mare, but couldn't.So instead of just leaveing like he should have, Samual spoke. "Who are you?" He asked. His eyes slightly travled over her coat then make up to her head, waiting for a response.
