He flinched when some flames hit his legs. He winced and grit his teeth. He cursed under his breath before sending more violent sparks again from every direction but this time he also sent some through the floor.

Jamie doubled over with pain, gritting her teeth and gasping, she'd dropped her custom Ruger. She pushed Rinku away, then threw Yume at her. She crumpled down to her knees, facing the ground. She grabbed her custom Ruger from the floor where she'd dropped it, then pointed it at Rinku, "Why..?" She shot at the floor right next to Rinku's foot then lay on her side, still grasping her wound. Even though Rinku hadn't hit her wound, it still felt like she'd been hit there.
